Overall the place was nice inside. Most beds we okay but the extra blankets needed to be freshened. Nice kitchen. The outside was in desperate need of TLC. Not what I would consider an oasis. There was a bunch of wood where they had taken down a tree. The pool light was broke, 1 lounge chair, and cleaning equipment just left on the table out there. Waterfall by pool had a weed growing out of it. The area outside before you go into the pool was full of weeds and the patio furniture was worn and it was not not a very clean area. Worn wood on the outside of the house in the back.

A stayed here with a group of friends for a connecting weekend together. After we all packed up, we agreed that we would stay here again. Kim had mentioned early on that she was also traveling, but that didn't keep her from being a very responsive host. The beds were comfortable, the couch was cozy, and there were plenty of towels for the six of us. Having the washer and dryer was a huge help. The grotto was perfect for cooling down in the hot sun, and the trees and patio provide ample shade. I only have a couple minor complaints. The chlorine in the hot tub was intense! Maybe the cleaning solution was overused, or maybe the water didn't have enough time to air out. A few of us got in for maybe 5 minutes, but it was burning our eyes and the smell was very strong. There are worse things than being too clean, so I still appreciate it. We were woken up to the sound of a lawn mower, weed wacker, and leaf blower at 8 am our last morning there. That sucked and got us all in a pretty bad mood. Kim had mentioned that we might see some gardeners, but I didn't anticipate that. She was very apologetic, and explained the gardener schedule situation. Plus we were there during 103ยฐ weather, and realistically it wouldn't be safe for them to work in the afternoon. Something to consider when you book. Thanks again, Kim! We had a great time!

Enjoyed 4 nights here last week with my six sisters. The house and property were nicely maintained. Our communications with Kim were great. Definitely recommend this home for a quiet and restful getaway.

We've stayed at this home several times, and it has become our favorite place to stay whenever we visit family in Granite Bay. The home is private, spacious, and has a wonderful open layout that's perfect for spending time together as a family.The backyard is a highlight, with a beautiful pool and hot tub where we spent hours swimming, relaxing, and enjoying family barbecues. The house is always spotless, the beds are very comfortable, and everything is thoughtfully arranged to make you feel at home.Kim is an outstanding hostโ€”friendly, responsive, and always easy to communicate with. Loved visiting the Granite Bay Area. Historic Folsom was awesome the Folsom Sanctuary Zoo was great even though it was 100 degrees. Went to golfland water park so much to do in the area. House was like home with an amazing pool, hot tub and patio area. Thank you Kim and Luis very accommodating hosts 5 stars for sure.

Property was great. The host was phenomenal with great communication and kindness. A few things that we wish would have been better. The pool was not clean. We wanted to grill and went to clean it, the grill brush was so worn down. We tried to use aluminum foil and that was almost completely gone, so ran out and had nothing to use for leftovers. The dish soap was almost gone, so washing bottles was tough. All minor things. The property was great and the kids had a blast.

This was our second time staying at Kim and Luisโ€™s home, and it was just as wonderful as the first visit. That alone says a lot! We really enjoyed our stay at the private oasis! The owner, Kim, was great with her communication and was quick with her responses to any questions that we had. The location of the property was perfect and close to restaurants and shopping. Our favorite part was relaxing in the backyard and enjoying the hot tub. We were in town for a wedding and the house was a perfect place to relax and recharge in between wedding activities.

Was a girls trip (over 60) getting together for an annual trip. Clean interior with plenty of beds for all 6 of us. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and cooked one night on the grill; easy to use. Weather was perfect for floating in the pool. We never left the property!

The โ€œOasisโ€ was perfect as a home base for a week of house hunting. The WiFi was fast so I could work remotely. The location worked great as a central location for exploring homes, shopping, fun and visiting family in Tahoe. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool when we had downtime and the park across the street was great for walking our dog. The hosts checked on us regularly, and left some nice treats to enjoy during our stay. Overall, it was perfect!

Property and amenities are great and clean. Location is right off a busy road, saw someone scoping out the backyard early in the morning on one of our days. Communication with property managers is good. Overall good stay and very enjoyable. Great space for boat/rv parking

Beautiful, quiet, and convenient

Recently updated and nicely appointed. The pool and yard are extremely well-maintained and, despite being close to a main road, you feel like you're in the middle of the country. Owners are clearly very thoughtful and concenred about their guests' happiness. Great wifi with mesh network throughout the large home so I was able to work anywhere. I recommended this home for my local friends to use for their family's stays.

Worth the Splurge!!

We regularly visit the area to see our family and typically host them in rental homes such as this one, so we've rented a few places in the area. This one provided a top-tier experience. - Lots of Privacy in the location of the home- Very modern but with a cozy rambler feel- Hot Tub and back patio area is fantastic.- Large King Bed in the master - The host provided snacks and a bottle of wine upon arrival.This is legitimately an 8.5 out of 10 home and worth every penny to rent. I would 100% rent this house again if it's available on our future trips.These are not complaints, but they are things I would have wanted to know prior to renting the place that might help future travelers:- The home is directly off a somewhat busy arterial road with lots of traffic. There will be some street noise.- All of the bedrooms are one one side of the house. - The bathrooms are about halfway modernized. The vanities and faucets are great. The shower in the master and bathtub in the main bathroom leave a little to be desired.- We visited in early April, and the pool was a little bit dirty with leaf debris from the trees. Not a dealbreaker, we could have swam in it if we wanted to. Also, there isn't really enough light for night swimming.Like I said, not complaints at all and we loved our time at the home. You'll feel good about booking this home.

Great for groups

Fun house with nice hot tub. Pool looked nice too but we didn't use it. We were in town for an event at the Johnson Ranch Sports Club, this is a great location convenient to that facility.
