The house was in overall nice condition. The floors and furniture were extremely dirty. Noticeable spiderwebs and dust. Downstairs mattress needs to be upgraded.

The property was so nice and clean. Also, a short drive to Sugar Mountain for activities. Would definitely stay again because it is pet friendly.

We had a great time from start to finish. Quiet neighborhood, very charming cabin- a lot of birds and wildlife all around. We especially loved the proximity to Boone/Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. Great location just off highway 105. We will rent again.

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay with us. We hope your family made wonderful birthday memories in the mountains!
Overall clean and furnished as described. This is our second time staying at this property. We enjoy the grounds, the fire pit and the nice playground area at the entrance of Seven Devils. Only complaint was a loud party that took place from near by neighbors one evening that did not end until after 2am. Overall good property and nice area.

Thank you for your kind review, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. We are so sorry you had an issue with neighbors near by, the area does have a noise ordnance which clearly was ignored. We would love to have you visit with us again if you are back in the High Country.
We had a Mother’s Day getaway weekend and had a wonderful time. We spent most of our time on the porches, enjoying the rain or the mountain air and sounds. Reading a book on the hammock was so relaxing. We were an easy drive to Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, Grandfather Vineyards, and downtown Blowing Rock.

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay! It sounds like you had an eventful weekend visiting the local attractions. If you are in the High Country again, we would love to have you visit again.
My husband and I stayed for a week in October 2021. It was perfect! Loved the pond that was right down the road. The barn with fall decorations was a beautiful addition. The location was convenient to Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock. We loved our accommodations!
What a beautiful cabin. We really enjoyed our coffee on the back porch in the morning . It was like sitting in the forest in a treehouse
The peaceful view of the Rhododendron s in bloom and the barn on the front porch with a glass of wine in the evening was perfect to end the day. We plan to come back and stay longer.

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay with us and were able to relax and enjoy both porches! We would love to have you visit again if you are in the area!
It was great staying at the cabin. Place is super cozy, clean, all necessities are there (essentials provided for about first two -three days)
Location is great, close to skiing, dining, etc.
great atmosphere, lovely views!
however, checkout process is very involved. With many checklist items, such as putting towels away, starting dishwasher, removing garbage, setting temp , cleaning fireplace, it takes away from hassle free time.

Amazing cabin for a few friends to celebrate a birthday weekend. Close to restaurants. Clean and beautiful! Downstairs bed was not comfortable, but loft bed and futon were very comfortable! Bathrooms were clean but not an extra toilet paper in the loft bathroom and only half a roll to start.

Thank you for your review, we are glad you were able to enjoy a birthday weekend in the mountains! Thanks for letting us know about the bed downstairs, we will check on this. We apologize about the toilet tissue, you can always call the rental office if things are missing from the cabin. We would love to have you visit again if you are ever visiting the High Country.
Loves this property. Stayed at the coldest time of year. Heat could not keep up. Thank goodness for the wood fireplace and generous supply of firewood. Beds were comfortable even the futon! Nice get away. Difficult to find at night. Very dark. Lovely stay.
