When you stay at Our Villa, you’ll have a range of exclusive 5-star services at your fingertips, including a private in-house Chef, daily housekeeping, and an on-site Villa manager, with access to the some of the best facilities in Punta Cana, including world championship golf courses, 3 miles of pristine beach, the only Six Senses Spa in the Caribbean, a pioneering Ecological Park with fresh water lagoons and plenty of exquisite dining options. ABOUT THE AREA

Our Villa is located at Punta Cana Resort & Club, a gated resort & residential community with 24-hour gated entrance and security.

We are just a short 10-min drive from the Punta Cana International Airport, upon arrival your transportation will be waiting and will take you to our Villa. This arrival and departure transfer are not included in your rental.

Miles of pristine beaches with white powdery sand like Playa Serena, a short 5-minute walk from our Villa or The Beach and Golf Club La Cana just a short walk away and Playa Blanca is 30 minutes away in your Golf Cart, waits for you!


THE VILLA

At the villa, soaring ceilings and banks of windows and sliding glass doors mean that sunshine pours in, opening onto a sprawling patio and turquoise pool surrounded by palm trees that line the rolling greens of La Cana Golf Course.

Three bedrooms, each with its own in-suite bath, sleep 6-8 and are perfect for families or couples traveling together.

Begin the day with a dip in your own private pool and prepared-for-you breakfast on the patio, and then hit the golf course for a round of 9 with incredible views of the Caribbean. Villa Tatagua is located in Tortuga Bay, an award-winning oasis of private single-family homes within Punta Cana Resort and Club.
Or let the hours pass on the beautiful, white-sand beach at Playa Serena, sure to provide hours of sandcastle-building fun for little ones. Or let us help you book a private catamaran tour, where you’ll see the wonders of the ocean close-up and personal while you snorkel in the gorgeous blue waters.

We can prepare fresh, delicious meals for you at the villa (guests rave over our local fare!) And if you feel like dining out, the resort offers several world-class restaurants. From fresh-squeezed juices and grown-on-site veggie dishes at Bamboo to grilled steaks and shrimp skewers on the beach at Playa Blanca, there’s something for every taste.

Afterward, enjoy a glass of wine as you watch the sunset from the patio. Then sink into luxe, 500-thread-count sheets with goose-down duvets. Bright, generously sized bedrooms with in-suite bathrooms mean plenty of privacy for everyone. The master bathroom includes a separate shower and bathtub that's perfect for long, hot soaks

Your personal chef will prepare your breakfast and lunch or dinner to be enjoyed at the villa (groceries are not included). Housekeeping is done daily to keep the villa spotlessly clean, make the beds, and wash towels and linens.

You’ll also have a villa manager during your stay. This is your go-to person for anything you need during your stay, e.g. transfers, excursions, reservations for restaurants, spa treatments, reservations for golf, tickets to events and nightclubs, etc. if you have not booked these prior to your arrival. Additional fees apply to all extra services. Our villa manager speak English and Spanish as a minimum and will be on property to greet you when you arrive to the villa and available throughout your entire stay.

We had a great stay! Eduardo was very helpful in the pre-trip communications, and Rosa and Jessenia made sure the week went smoothly. We especially enjoyed the meals prepared onsite, and the staff was very welcoming. Our kids also really enjoyed the house and playing in the pool.

The house was very clean, beautiful, and well maintained. We stayed here for a bachelorette trip, and one of the things we appreciated the most was how safe and comfortable we felt the entire time. The property being in a gated community gave us so much peace of mind since we were a group of young women traveling together.Our housekeeper China and cook Nayelin were absolutely incredible. They were warm, attentive, and truly took care of us like family. The meals were amazing and the house was always spotless. They made the stay feel so special and welcoming.The only small hiccup was that the check-in information from Eduardo was a little confusing at first, but everything was quickly resolved and after that the stay was seamless.Overall we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend staying here, especially for groups or girls trips. We would absolutely come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home at Tortuga Bay. The home is beautifully furnished and updated, the rooms spacious and the location is ideal. Jean, the chef is outstanding. I have stayed at the club many times before and we planned to go out for dinner several evenings. After the first dinner prepared by her, we cancelled the balance of our dinner reservations and ate at home! This rental is better stocked with essentials, from basic seasonings, to cutlery, crockery and appliances etc. than any I have stayed in before. The home was spotless, cleaned daily and Eduardo is very organised and very responsive to any questions that we had, the perfect person to rent from. I highly recommend this rental to anyone considering renting in Punta Cana.

The house was in excellent condition—very clean and well-maintained. It was perfect for our family, with each of us having our own bedroom and full bathroom, which made the stay even more comfortable.From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Chej Jenna and Suleica, who truly went above and beyond to make our trip special. We were celebrating my daughter’s Sweet 16, and they surprised us with a beautiful display of balloons and a cake, along with a delicious breakfast on her special day. The house itself is nice what really cast a negative pall on the stay was the absolute boorishness of the owner. He was rude. He did not make us feel welcome and he treated his staff poorly. The staff apologized for his behavior to try and make us feel better but it was not their burden. The pool is ridiculously small and is misrepresented in the fotos. The house was completely adequate but the owner behavior and rudeness even pre-stay would never allow me to rent with him again or suggest it to anyone I cared about. There are many nicer places to stay with better ownership skip this one.

It was our first time staying in Eduardo’s property and it was amazing! This house is exactly as it is picture. It is a quiet property, perfectly clean, with an amazing pool and bedrooms. The check in process was very easy, Eduardo gave us excellent recommendations and was very easy to communicate with. We recommend to lease the golf carts to go around La Cana and also Yan the chef, that prepares you delicious meals!

All in all it was a pleasant experience. We experienced some trouble with a language barrier with the staff. Also, since we were there for two weeks, the expenses of getting bottled water was not made clear ahead of time, since the water in the house was not treated. Jean and Judy were helpful and Jeans meals were delicious.

Our family had an amazing trip to Punta Cana! The house was perfect for our family of 5. The location was ideal since our son was in a golf tournament at La Cana golf course. Pure Relaxation!

We had an amazing experience! The house was exactly as described and even better in person. Everyone in my party had plenty of space, felt safe, and slept soundly. The golf cart was fantastic to explore the neighborhood and get us to the beach and resort pool. Rosa and her helper kept us well fed for breakfast and dinner! The pool was cleaned every day and was a perfect size for us 4. All in all, we had a great trip and would highly recommend staying here!

Hello! I’m Eduardo, the owner of Villa Tatagua in beautiful and tropical Punta Cana Resort and Club.

I am a retired US civil engineer and general contractor and know what it is like to live a stress-filled life in the hustle and bustle of a large city. I had vacationed in the Dominican Republic many times in the past and always found the beautiful beaches, friendly people and tropical scenery so relaxing and inviting. I always found it hard to leave when the vacation was over and couldn’t wait until I could once again return. When I retired, I decided to make a change: I turned one of my favorite vacation spots into my retirement home and am so happy I did!

I bought this Villa 10 years ago and spent several months remodeling it to what it is today…a beautiful 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath, spacious, sun-filled Villa facing hole 2 of La Cana Golf Course and a short walk to Playa Serena, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. I named the home Villa Tatagua in honor of a beautiful beachfront property my parents owned in Cuba.

I have loved every minute of this new life! It is a pleasure getting to know our guests and helping them turn their dream vacation into a reality. Many of our wonderful guests have returned year after year and we have a spotless 5-star review from 50 guests and counting!
