The Cosmopolitan is the ultimate in downtown accommodations, with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a balcony looking over the Austin Convention Center and lots of space for entertaining. You simply cannot get any closer to the heart of SXSW and the best of downtown Austin.

Walk to everything including hundreds of restaurants, movie theaters, bars, nightclubs, lounges, and live music venues, the location cannot be beat. The town lake walking/jogging trail is just a few blocks away, there is a yoga studio just across the street, Starbucks is 200 feet from the front door, and arrangements can be made for a temporary gym membership two blocks away during your visit, if desired. We also provide full concierge services, so just tell us what you need and we will make it happen.

A full kitchen with oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and all of the tools you need to cook your favorite meals will be included, however there are so many dining options within a few blocks, you may never use it. Great location, you can walk anywhere, and overall it’s a cool place. Some funiture is in need of replacement and one of the beds linens had been overlooked and was dirty. Would absolutely stay here again though.

The Perfect place for a stay in downtown Austin!

Recently hosted my cousin's bachelorette party in downtown Austin. We rented two condos to hold all of our guests, and this was one of the condos in which we stayed. Simply put, the property is fabulous! Location: right in the middle of everything and within walking distance to restaurants and bars galore! The space: It is beautiful with lovely finishes and amenities to make the stay feel special. . The company that you rent from is over the top helpful and polite. They even had a bottle of wine awaiting our arrival! They provided all details needed to help plan your stay- everything from transportation from the airport to the perfect dinner or dancing hot spot, Onyx hotels helped me plan it all! I would definitely stay here again!

I can see where this was a nice place 10-15 years ago but the unit and the entire condo complex is outdated. The unit smelled very musty when we checked in and we had to open all the windows to help with the stench. Both bathrooms don’t have fans and the shower curtains have mold on them. The furniture is also very worn down and sagging with ripped fabric. While we liked that we never had to Uber anywhere bc we were in walking distance to restaurants and bars it was also that proximity that made it feel a bit sketchy. Fortunately the complex is fully gated which provided peace of mind.

Couch in the living room was broken. Essentially took a bath every time you showered, water barely drains. Mold in the closets. No exhaust fans in the bathrooms. No sound on the TV. Dishwasher doesn't work. Location is fantastic, but for the price we honestly expected a little bit more...

The location of the condo is excellent. Close to the 6th street music clubs and good restaurants. However the unit needs work - master bath faucet fell off on the first use. The 2nd bathroom is moldy and plumbing needs work. The furniture in the family room is well worn. The wifi signal is weak.

Stayed here for a 4 day weekend and it was absolutely perfect and super safe! Great location, we walked to restaurants and bars on 6th St. and Rainey St. Condo was very clean and perfect amount of space for 9 people. On the top floor so be prepared to carry groceries and items up a few flights. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay

Awesome Austin Convention Location

The location is perfect for attending events at the Austin convention center. Although we had a couple of maintenance issues, the property manager and maintenance technician handled everything promptly and efficiently. We will definitely stay at this property again.

We were so very pleased with the Austin Cosmopolitan. Comfortable, clean, and it felt like home even with 7 women sharing it. Plumbing problem was a little disappointing but maintenance was very attentive to addressing it to the best of their ability.

Amazing Location for a Group in Austin

Several members of my work team (6 in total) attended a conference in downtown Austin this spring, and decided to stay at The Cosmopolitan instead of booking the $$$ hotel rooms. I was a little apprehensive about the amount of "together time" we'd have, but the cost savings alone were worth it. This was a GREAT place to stay. You really can't beat the location. The convention center and light rail are right across the street. There are plenty of great bars and restaurants within walking distance (we loved Second Bar and Kitchen, and LaCondesa), as well as lots of good music right around the corner (Maggie Mae's was a group favorite). It's also worth mentioning that there's a Starbucks and a great yoga studio right across the street (got to get your fix, right?!). It's an easy walk to the river/lake trail, shopping, etc. In terms of value for the dollar, the Cosmopolitan really comes out on top. The condo, itself, was well-appointed and clean. Check -in and check-out were super easy (most simple experience I've had with a HomeAway rental), and we had no problems getting in and out of the building/condo. We didn't use the parking, but it would be a real benefit if you had a car. There were six of us, which I think was probably the right amount of people for the space. The bathrooms were stocked with plenty of soap, shampoo and conditioner, and there were more than enough towels/washcloths for everyone (not always a given when you have six women sharing a space!). If we wanted for anything (we really didn't), it would have been nice to have more seating in the living room. But in the grand scheme of things, that's a pretty minor complaint.

Beautiful and perfect location

The condo is absolutely beautiful and decorated in a fun and elegant way. The layout was great and the location was even better! The place was very high quality and location was right next to 6th street. The only notes I have is that there are beds for 9 (3 twin, 2 queen, 1 king, and no couches). And apparently some air up mattress are included as back up options. We had some difficulty with communications setting it up, but they have hired more people since then. Even with this issue, and anything else that happened, I felt like they handled it amazingly! I got a direct email from the owner addressing everything and it felt very personal. They have many properties and so many renters so the fact that they care about every individual one time stay, I was very impressed. I will be visiting again soon.
