Perfect view of the beach/ocean. Steps from the beach. The beach was blocked off a 1/4 mile down each way that blocked cars from driving on the beach where the house was located. Prefect house. Very cozy. Definitely will rebook if the opportunity presents itself.
We loved staying here and will definitely be back! The house is very clean, cozy, spacious and beautifully decorated. You are literally a few steps from the beach and have amazing views from every window and patio of the house. The beds were all very comfy and the master has great views but also roll down blinds to shade the large windows for sleeping. We love to cook so the large kitchen with new appliances and all the cookware was great. Overall, the house has everything you need and more than enough space. The owner is extremely responsive and nice! We can’t wait to go back!
The Blue Heron was great! Beautiful views, very nice updated kitchen...the whole place was very nice! We had 6 adults and had tons of room to spread out. 6 chairs on the deck to enjoy the breeze and view, even had chairs we could take down on the beach. The only issue would be that the door had a code to unlock that did not work but there was a lock box with keys in it (with said code) but that detail wasn't communicated. It was not a problem, it just took a minute to figure out that this was what you needed the code for. Other than that, I would stay here again if I had a large group. It was a beautiful place with great views and access to the beach.

We had a great overall experience at this beach house. Beach access and views are truly outstanding; Convenience of the downstairs shower/restroom made beach days incredibly easy. Home was updated and equipped with a fully functional & stocked kitchen. The thoughtful beach accessories were a pleasant surprise. The house is very spacious, which made it comfortable for our large group. There were a few areas where the stay could be improved. The master suite offered very limited privacy, as it does not have an en‑suite bathroom and instead shares a hallway bathroom with the bunk room and study area. The master bedroom also lacks blackout curtains, so light from downstairs living area shines in at night, and only has sheer curtains for the outdoor balcony‑facing doors. Adding blackout curtains to interior French doors & exterior sliding glass area would greatly enhance comfort & privacy. The home was overall clean, though there was a noticeable sour/mildew odor, as if it had been unoccupied for a while. We purchased air fresheners to help. Few minor maintenance items stood out:• Dead batteries in several remotes• outdoor trash bin filled w/debris• rusted/broken outdoor chairs Broken indoor portable fansThese were all minor issues, and none of them overshadowed the many positives of the home. With a few thoughtful updates, this property could easily become an exceptional beach getaway. The location, beach convenience, and overall setup made it a wonderful place to stay.
