Enjoy our 3,600 square foot five bedroom three bathroom + outdoor shower Galveston Bermuda Beach home. Enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the beach and bay. Just steps from the beach [1 house back with direct side views], this end of the lane location assures private enjoyment of the beach while entertaining friends and family.

Beautiful sunset gulf beach views from three levels of floor to ceiling windows; including a 360 degree view from the unique above-the-roof enclosed air conditioned “crows nest” and outside sun-deck. Reverse floor plan, with elevator, sleeps up to 20, the beach home is perfect for inside air conditioned open living space entertaining,kitchen, dining, living and game room. Kitchen has granite countertops, table for 6 plus breakfast bar facing the beach. Dining room has seating for 12 with a folding table and chairs available for seating up to 20, game room table seats 6.

Over 2,000 square feet of south and west facing decks (1,000 feet shaded) with large gas BBQ grill on the ground level and seating for outside entertaining. Walkway to the beach is adjacent to the house.

Yes, our home does have stairs but there is also an elevator available for our guest to use. Our listing and photos clearly state/show that the house is on pilings and that there is a floor with most of the bedrooms, a main floor and a small crows nest,

This place has expansive space to spread out and relax, a useful and well-equipped large kitchen, and beautiful views from everywhere! We had one small hiccup with the keypad battery and the hosts and their local representative were quick to respond. We highly recommend this place!

Beautiful home with just the right amount of space!

We loved staying there! It was the perfect spot with just a short walk to the pedestrian beach. With smaller boys, this was perfect! Loved everything about this house and location!

Easter Beach Stay and just a few feet away.

Amazing house and a beautiful view with a path that's just a few steps from the beach. All the amenities you need, big kitchen, plenty of rooms, minutes from convinience stores and an elevator to haul our luggage and get our over 90 grandfather to his floor. Perfect getaway!

My family and our friend's family really enjoyed our time here. Just steps from the beach was the best part. Plenty of space and great views. The owners were fantastic to deal with and were very helpful when I made a booking mistake. I definitely recommend staying here and I hope we can visit again soon.

The Big, Blue House

The big, blue house was a great place for our family gathering. Forewarned that the coded front entry lock was intermittently reliable, we simply used the key. The elevator was a godsend! The kitchen was well fortified with everything we needed. The pantry shelves, cabinet shelves, and drawers could benefit from a deep clean. The large dining room table was perfect for the size of our family for meals, games, and art projects! The views from the third floor were beautiful. We had a wonderful time!

We are Jeff and Leslie, retired professionals who love to travel and enjoy live. We have four homes (located in Galveston, TX, Northern Michigan - Petoskey, Southern CA - Ventura and a condo in NYC on the upper west side) all of our homes are set up as vacation rentals. We bounce between our homes based on seasons and rental schedules. During the summer we works as aquatic and waterfront directors at over-night youth summer camp in the Poconos.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this home as a place to bring our families together and create lifelong memories. Our two children and their spouses both live in the Houston area and both have two daughters, we rented a home in the historic section of Galveston for a couple of family weekends and decided it made sense to purchase a family home on the beach for weekends and holidays holiday get-togethers.

Often we have non Houston family members join us. The name of the house MarSea~Shoals is a play of both of our last names and since "mar" is sea in Spanish and a shoal is a sand bar and also "trouble" it seemed the perfect combination.

We hope our home will bring your family and friends together to create memories.
