Hi Peggy, we’re glad you enjoyed the location and our responsive team. That said, we were disappointed by your review, especially considering the number of issues raised during your stay that ultimately turned out to be unfounded. You reported a dish breaking in the oven while cooking and insisted we send someone immediately, which meant a 20 mile drive into Yosemite National Park, through weekend traffic and entrance lines. Our housekeeper went out of their way to assist, only to find they were being asked to clean up the result of your own accident. There wasn’t so much as a thank you for that effort. You also claimed a lamp wasn’t working, only to later determine it was controlled by a wall switch, one you admitted you hadn’t even tried. Additionally, you requested a last-minute booking change and early check-in, which we couldn’t accommodate due to a same-day turnover. We work hard to provide a high level of service in a remote and challenging environment, and we do our best to support all guests, but that depends on mutual respect and reasonable expectations. We wish you well in your future travels.

Thank you Trait! We are having the AC looked at to ensure everything is working properly so upstairs can stay cool on those major heat waves. We are thrilled to hear you had a great trip and hope to get the privilege to host you all again if ever in the Yosemite area!

Thank you very much for the feedback Judy! We will have our team check out the AC asap. The downstairs runs off the same as the upstairs, so perhaps the vents upstairs were closed off? Regardless, we will get this checked out immediately, along with the stovetop. We appreciate the feedback about the twin beds, and will see if we can make them more comfortable.
