We had a truly comfortable and relaxing two-night stay. The cabin was spotless and beautifully organized, and we could feel the host’s thoughtful touch in every detail of the interior design. We especially loved having breakfast at the wooden table and chairs, where we could fully enjoy the feeling of being surrounded by nature. Our family would absolutely love to come back and stay at this lovely and thoughtfully designed cabin again.

Awesome stay! The place was perfect!

The yard was in closed so the kids could play in the snow outside - the place was so clean and the perfect size for our family - the only thing to keep in mind was you have to bring your own sheets and towels but that wasn't a big deal for us. We would recommend!!

Great cabin near big bear

Nice two bedroom cabin that can easily sleep five. Big yard to play around it and a good amount of room for parking.

It was the perfect place for our little family. The relatively large fenced yard was perfect for our 4 year old and 3 year old twin boys to play. I loved that there were lots of native plants in the yard to provide shade and wildlife viewing (Stellars jays, mountain chickadees, acorn woodpeckers, and chipmunks). The inside of the cabin was quaint and clean and just the right size. Would stay here again.

It was a great little cottage. And I appreciated that it was cozy especially at night. Didn’t really need covers with the heater. We were a little drive from the lake but it was close enough.

Humble

Thank you Bryan for sharing your little cozy cabin. The pictures perfectly show this beautiful home away from home. Cozy, quaint & a peaceful setting. Bryan is an excellent host, couldn’t ask for a nicer one. Will definitely be back.

Thank you for the kind review. FYI, immediately after you left I had an electrician put the fireplace on it’s own circuit. I never would have known if you had not said something. Hope to have you back again soon. Bryan

My family and I were very impressed by this cabin. It was clean, well stocked, and had the feel of home. If you enjoy the quiet mountain lifestyle, this cabin is for you. We came up for 4th of July fireworks at the lake, but didn't want to be in town where it is much busier. There is a nearby general store for any supplies you might need. I look forward to returning in the future

The place is very nice big yard for my kids to run around if we decide to just have a day in instead of doing activities. Only thing I didn’t like was when I tried giving my kids a bath and no hot water came out I called the owner and he was rude laughing in my face asking me what I wanted him to do about it 😡 Luckily the issue resolved itself by morning but that alone made me want to leave and get my money back. Be kinder to your guest please.

No internet .

The cabin had very poor internet wifi and owner doesn’t care about that I called him and he told me( it is what it is). Also the chairs had very bad quality because all of them would wiggle when we sat on them.

Mr. Patrick called me late in the evening regarding his concerns. He was very adamant that I needed to come to the cabin and fix the WiFi so he could text his kids, he had poor phone reception and the WiFi speed was slow. Oddly enough he was able to call me on the same phone?? I informed him that to date we had not experienced a problem with any of the previous renters, but I would check into it first thing in the morning. This angered him and I told him that I was sorry, but I am not a Comcast internet technician and know nothing about how this works. And yes I did say "that at this point it is what it is" .The next day I checked The internet and had no problems with speed and streaming.

Very nice lodging option

So, this place isn't on a lake, or a village, but it is charming. It has a lot of space outside for playing and the road that it is on gets you right onto hiking trails. The kitchen was well organized and we found we weren't short of anything that we were told to bring for ourselves.

A Hidden Gem

What a wonderful place. While it is on the smaller side, it is very nice and well kept. Bryan was very attentive to our communication. Apart from breaking my arm up at Summit, it was a wonderful stay! We will absolutely be back next year.

It was perfect for us. Very cozy cabin. The communication was fantastic. I was reminded of everything I needed to bring so that I didn’t forget. We had a very good time snowboarding during the day and playing games in the evening.
