Welcome to this Green Mountain Song! This recently renovated 3200 sq ft home featuring 5 bedrooms is located on 5 acres in Massanutten Mountain. Entering on the second floor, you will see a large family room to the right with a cozy brick fireplace, perfect for watching a movie with your whole group! To the left, there is a large, fully equipped modern kitchen connected to a magnificent dining room with a large table that can seat 10 people comfortably. The kitchen has plenty of cabinet space with a new electric stove, all stainless-steel appliances, a breakfast bar, and an eating area with windows that look out to the huge backyard!



Off the kitchen, there is a spacious Master Bedroom. This room features a King bed and an ensuite bath with double vanities and a walk-in shower. The 2nd floor also boasts another spacious bedroom with 2 twin beds and a private bathroom with shower.



Moving downstairs you will see a spacious lounge area with a fireplace and widescreen TV. The lounge area opens into 3 more spacious bedrooms (one with a king-sized bed, and the other two with two Queen sized beds each), each with ensuite bathrooms. The first floor also includes a pet room for your furry friends!



There is a 2-car garage with an EV charging System, along with ample parking for more vehicles. Around the back of the house, you will find a screened-in porch, Weber grill, and griddle for cooking.

A large patio area includes a new hot tub that will accommodate up to 8 adults, including a firepit and patio furniture seating 12-14 adults. The backyard is a wooded lot with a stair walkway to a Yoga Deck. Passing the yoga deck, you will find a pleasant 20-minute hiking trail marked in orange that leads to an upper deck where you can pause and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Very nice property. Relatively remote setting with no other properties right next door, but near enough to various amenities/attractions/restaurants that we could use the home to chill for a while before moving on to our next adventure.

Very comfortable, well appointed house, with a spacious kitchen/dining room, detached playroom, plenty of room for kids to roam outside, and ample parking. Although the house is directly off Massanutten Drive, it was quiet and we had no adjacent neighbors so it felt like we had plenty of privacy for our group of nine people.

Beautiful place convenient to all of Massanutten and Harrisonburg. Great layout with en-suite bed/baths, fully appointed kitchen, comfy seating areas and wonderful back yard area!! We all had a wonderful time together in this perfect home!

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed this property. The kitchen was fantastic—well stocked with quality supplies, nice dishes and glassware, and a large dining area that worked perfectly for our group. The game room was a lot of fun, the hot tub was clean and relaxing, and the laundry machines were great to have. Beds were comfortable with good pillows and comforters, and overall the house was very clean and welcoming.A special highlight was that the home was decorated for Christmas. The holiday décor in the dining area was a big hit and added such a warm, festive touch to our stay.A few very minor (and picky) suggestions: a bit more silverware—especially spoons—would be helpful. Upstairs could use a floor lamp and an additional couch, and a small side table on the other side of the king bed downstairs would be convenient. One guest wasn’t a fan of memory foam mattresses, but that’s definitely a personal preference.Overall, these are just small details. This was a really nice place, and you won’t be disappointed.

Someone really cares about this property. It is well organized, clean, and cozy. The 11 of us had a wonderful time in the game shed, yoga deck, around the fire pit, and in the hot tub we were minutes away from JMU, hiking, mini golf and so much more. Simply - we loved it!

Great family getaway

This property was very comfortable for our family of 7. We especially enjoyed the game room,where we played pool and ping pong. Loved that it was air conditioned. We used the hot tub, outside table and the grilling area. Great place to stay! Sometimes, the living room smelled from the fire. Otherwise, all was perfect.

My friend group and I like to meet up annually in Massanutten as it's a great location, roughly equal distance from Richmond and Northern Va. We loved the house- the HUGE kitchen and dining room were perfect for our huge group! The main level living area provided zones for people to break off and socialize, with intermittent breaks in the hot tub. Also, so many bathrooms avoided wait time and afforded privacy. Driveway was great size and the attached garage was super helpful!

Our Family Thanksgiving Getaway

This property was absolutely beautiful!!! The rooms were spacious and to be a pet friendly home , there were no signs of pets having been on property , except the cute little dog room !!!! My experience with renting this property was phenomenal, from the beginning to the end !! Mark and Jenny were great host . We had no needs to call for any problems, because everything was great !!! A Welcoming and Family Friendly Home

This home is on two levels and very spacious - with each bedroom having its own bathroom. There are lots of places to sit and read - or to gather for meals, games, conversations, and more. The home is nicely decorated and very comfortable. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of space. The games room was a huge it, ending with a tournament with brackets and all - pool, ping pong and corn hole (plus a fridge and bar). The hot tub was also a great addition. On our last afternoon, two owls came to visit - close enough for great photos. This property is also a short drive to the amenities at Massanutten - from zip lining to hiking to.....and to grocery shopping, restaurants, etc just off the mountain and nearby Harrisonburg. Very highly recommended!

Beautiful Home, Perfect Location

We went up for the weekend and the house was absolutely perfect. The rooms were exactly as described, which can be a little hit and miss with listings!Everything was clean and easy to find. Plenty of room for everyone. This listing allows pets but you cannot tell. There is no odor, no hair ect. Which some in our party are sensitive to. I would bring tupperware, ZIP lock bags if you like to prepare meals during your stays.

Green Mountain Song - Easter 2025

We enjoyed our stay at Green Mountain Song. We enjoyed the home, the game area, and the outdoor area. We were able to have most of our meals outside on the patio area which we loved. The property was very clean with the exception of several trash bags left in the garage, personal items left in the master bedroom nightstand and towels left in the dryer. We also found that 4 mattresses were flipped, meaning that the base of the mattresses were the sleeping surfaces. So we flipped the mattresses that needed taken care of and removed the trash to the designated area. No big deal really other than one uncomfortable nights sleep for some of us.Given the opportunity, we would come back.

Great house!

Amazing layout with lots of bathrooms. Very spacious. Clean and updated. I actually think the pictures don't do it justice for the size and how nice it is!We have older kids (ages 10-12) so can't assess for little kids but I did notice a high chair, pnp, baby gate. Layout is great particularly if you have two "groups" that may want to hang separately - like kids separate from adults, etc. since there are two seating areas with TVs and fireplaces. Kitchen - well-stocked with cooking tools & appliances. Lots of pantry and counter space for food and prep. A ton of seating for larger groups.We utilized the yoga deck to watch the sunrise over the mountains. We loved the game room and made use of that on our rainy day. Garage availability is SO nice during cold weather and when you have ski equipment. Love that they had nightlights - and aprons - it's the little things that make a difference in a rental! driveway is nice with ample parking and very little opportunity to block another car that might need to leave! The little pet alcove is adorable - our dog didn't use it but our kids wanted to lol. We didn't use the hot tub, fire pit or fireplaces, so cannot speak to those.Great location, only a 3-4 minute drive from the slopes. On a busy road but that also means things are accessible and if there is snow you can get to the main road quickly which we appreciated.Rental agency and owner both quick to respond. definitely would rent here again.

Hosts werre welcoming, everything was as pictured. I was pleasantly surprised by the location the privacy we had, nestled in the woods. Temperature of home wirhstood the freezing temps and remained cozy. Parking support our 3 SUVs, and we had room for more. Would love to return in the spring.
