Nice stay overall. Great location. The property is pretty basic, but it was clean and the essentials were covered. Guests should note that the only bathroom is upstairs and that the stairs are quite creaky/loud.

The apartment was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was very , very loud. There were cars all night with loud car exhausts and loud music. Bring earplugs. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Immaculate

We had a late night/early morning kind of event at Lucas Oil and just needed a place to sleep. This home was spectacular. Close to the stadium, but far enough out that it’s in a nice, safe neighborhood and not so busy. There’s a quaint little shopping area nearby that I wish we had time to explore. The house is cute and absolutely immaculate. The bedding and towels were nice and fluffy, there is some soap to get you started, and I slept better in the king bed there than I do in my expensive adjustable bed at home. Looking forward to staying here again!

When we arrived, the cleaning lady was there right until our 11 am check-in. Unfortunately, upon entering the non-smoking property…it reeked of cigarettes. Not just a little…but eye-watering, headache-inducing smoke. I contacted the owner immediately. He did get back to me and offered two solutions-to have someone come by and bring an ozone machine but we couldn’t be on property while it was running and could take 24 hours to fix the problem ( we were only there for a night) or he would refund us if we could find somewhere else to stay. Unfortunately, on short notice…the only other options were extremely expensive. However, with one of my children having asthma, I had no choice. While I know this was not the owners fault per se…I do know that his cleaning person alerted him prior to our arrival…we were left in the lurch or the only option was…ultimately to just deal with it. I don’t know how it could have been better handled other than to alert us before arrival and to help us find alternatives.

Hi Laurie, I am terribly sorry for your experience at my home. After speaking with you that day, it was my understanding that you were able to find alternative housing for the evening and did not end up staying at the property, which is why we gave a full refund for your booking. According to your review, it seems as though you ended up staying. Just curious, as it was my impression that you didn't stay. Just a harsh review of the actual property for you to have not stayed. While yes, I understand that the smoke smell was overwhelming, that issue has since been recitified
