About this property

Relax with the whole family at this adorable retreat. Only 90 minutes from St. Paul, this cozy cabin has everything you need for fun & relaxing. Featuring an outdoor sauna, modern updates indoors & out. Due to Eurasian Milfoil on the lake, the DNR has drained the majority of the lake and it is now a river(see pics of the view as of October 2023). The yellow cabin is very close to the Gandy Dancer State Trail as well as the Ice Age Trail; great for winter adventures!

Relaxing and Bird Watching

We had a very nice stay at the Yellow Cabin! There were several Bald Eagles and Trumpeter Swans in the river right in front of the large windows. One day we were lucky to have a pair of River Otters playing in the water too. The sauna was a nice feature after hiking many trails in the area. The bed was very comfortable and we felt very at home with all the amenities in the kitchen.
