Pet/Biker Friendly House on Horseshoe Hill. Minutes to the NOC and Bryson City
This house was built by my father and the craftsmanship is what sets it apart from most rentals. You will find numerous natural elements integrated throughtout that were sourced from the land surrounding the house. I provide every amenity imaginable and then some. There is a Wii console with an array of games and numerous board games for family fun. Both bedrooms have ROKU T.V.s with Hulu, Paramount + and Peacock included. Master has two Queen beds with a dual sink tub /shower combo. Main floor has a Queen bed and a step in handicap shower with 3 saftey bars and seats. Large kitchen has an island with extra sink and every 'kithen gadget' needed to make cooking an ease. Back porch offers a charcoal grill, 6 person spa, overlooks a man made pond/waterfall and faces 3 miles of forest. There is also a firepit with Adirondack chairs, a outdoor table and hammock nearby. The outdoor living space is lit with fariy lights when the sun goes down. There is also a ladder ball, bean bag toss game for outdoor fun. Fully paved access and a 4WD is not needed. Only 2 miles from the 28/74 Hwy split at Fontanta lake where there is access for swimming and other water activities. 10 min from the Nantahala Outdoor Center for white water rafting. 15 min from the Smoky Mountain Railway in Bryson City.

Trena was a stellar host! We loved her cabin hideaway in the woods. So many neat features from the back porch to the hot tub to the cute little neighbors dog named biscuit coming by to say hey! We will definitely book again when we are out that way! Thank you
My family and I enjoyed out stay! The cabin is beautiful and close to other attractions and cities! The host is very responsive and attentive to whatever you may need. We will definitely book again in the future :)
Beatiful and secluded. House was decorated inside and out in a autumn theme. Trena was there to greet us. And even had a dog (Biscuit) from the mountain visit EVERY day, multiple times. The best and friendliest experience my wife and I have ever had on vacation. Thanks to Trena.
This house is super cute. It was perfect for our group. We had 5 adults, and a toddler. The host is very responsive to messages, and you can really tell the extra effort they put into the place. The cabin was decorated for Christmas with lights and everything. The only thing negative I would say is that the hot tub is inflatable, which we are not expecting. And the chemical chlorine smell was so strong with the bubbles on that you couldn’t sit in it. I feel like the cabin was priced appropriately, but it was still a little disappointing to not be able to enjoy the hot tub like we had planned. Just something to know before booking if the hot tub is super important to you. Overall, we would stay here again!
It was BEAUTIFUL! We enjoyed the house and didn’t even leave some days. It was easy to find, comfortable, and just enough room for everybody.

Born and raised in Fl and started spending Summers in Bryson City when I was a young teen.
Why they chose this property
My parents bought the little red cabin next door ( the one I live in) in the early 80's. When my parents fled Fl my father built thier forever home on the same land.
What makes this property unique
Not only have I been told this house feels like home, but the peacefulness of the area yet being close to everything it what makes it the perfect Smoky Mountain getaway.
