Great place to stay. Some extra glasses and kitchen ware would have been appreciated, but we managed. The house is very nice and the view from the deck is impressive.
The house was a great launch pad to explore Lassen, Burney Falls, and area reservoirs. The deck and view overlooking the trees and valley with Shasta in the background is spectacular. Angie was very helpful and the house has so many nice touches to make your stay comfortable.
Super quiet neighborhood with deer and turkeys strolling amongst the properties. Nice view of the surrounding mountains from the family room and back deck. Clean and comfortable overall and very accommodating host
Our family had a great stay at this property in Shingletown CA. The views off the large deck of the sunset over the mountains are amazing. It is in a great location for visiting Lassen Volcanic NP. The inside of the house is very comfortable and has everything you need. And the kids loved the game room and playing the arcade game! One of their all time favorite VRBOs! Thanks again for the great hospitality during our stay.
We spent a few nights at the cabin for a snowshoeing trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park. It is in a very convenient location and easy to find. Our trip was just before Christmas and the host put up very charming decorations in the living room, which was a very nice touch. The cabin has incredible views of Mount Shasta and the valley below. Everything was very clean and the kitchen had labeled cabinets so you can easily find items

Thank you very much Brenda, we hope to get the opportunity to host you again!
The house was very clean and quiet. The view is spectacular in the morning and evening. House has heaters. But the Fireplace is great to warm the house and hang around. My kids had fun with the pool table and game machine. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean. Overall a great place for a getaway. I would go back to stay again.
Everything was good. Location outstanding. Great, very large deck with view of Mt. Shasta, 60 miles away. Spacious inside with great views from all the many windows. Appliances all in very good shape, possibly new. Kitchen well equipped. Very comfortable king bed in the master. Angie was quickly responsive the two times I had questions.
The house was very nice, and the view spectacular. The only problem was that the place was very cold when we arrived, and with only one of the two wall heaters working, it took a long time to warm up. Fortunately, there were space heaters in the bedrooms.
I cannot stop wishing I was back at this property, sitting on the back deck, listening to the peace and quiet while seeing Mt Shasta in the distance. Owner’s communication before check-in was frequent and timely. No issues finding this hideaway. The inside was meticulously clean, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen was very functional. Now to the star of the property - the deck. So spacious and inviting, with a great gas fire pit for those cool mountain evenings. Great deck to sit and talk making family memories - while being visited by deer and turkeys daily. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again.
I brought my elderly parents here for a 2 day trip and we all loved the place! The views from the deck was amazing: we could see the sunset, mount Shasta and all the mountain ranges!! We were bummed to have to leave the house for sightseeing trips!
The host Angie was so thoughtful. She had left complementary snacks, water, coffee, tea etc for us which was so thoughtful of her. There is a grocery store close by which had most items that we need and also a gas station. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back.
