Let me start by saying it was better than advertised. We were working a convention downtown Chicago and wanted to stay a little out of town. This house was perfect. Super clean, loved the area. Close to everything we needed. The owner’s communication was great as well. Definitely above average. The next time we’re in Chicago we will definitely book again.

Great place. We’ve stayed here several times and owner did a great job on this place. Perfect for a family of 4-5z.Only complaints: no garbage bags, beds and floors squeaky, issue with Vrbo when we reduced stay a day, never got the refund for the day.Otherwise great stay and highly recommend!

This property is AMAZING! The actual property is exactly as listed on VRBO. The kitchen is equipped with top quality appliances, dishes, silverware, stemware, pots and pans! The home is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The basement is huge and beautiful! The house is located in a beautiful neighborhood. I will definitely book this property on my next visit to the area.

Everything about this house was exceptional! Traveled with my 93-year-old father-in-law who required special lift chair which the owners were gracious enough to let us rent and bring in. We had one little glitch with the Wi-Fi for which the owner was there in a hot flash to fix it. The next time I come back to Chicago I will definitely be staying here again! definitely a five star experience!

Very comfortable house. Great kitchen for cooking over the holidays. Host was available for any questions and responded right away. House was well stocked with bath and kitchen essentials. Super clean. Very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect house for our weekend trip to Chicago

Absolutely stunning house. Better in person than the pics. Quiet neighborhood, easily accessible, and easy to get into and out of Chicago. Loved the personal touches, like live plants, k-cups, toiletries, etc. Owners were very kind to keep in touch with updates, including option to check in early, and make sure all of our needs were met. When we return to Chicago, I hope to stay here again. Would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous gem in quiet neighborhood

Beautiful, pristine property, perfect for our family. Real beds, blackout curtains, clean and stocked bathrooms, fluffy white towels, quality bed linens, spacious kitchen complete with everything needed to cook and serve, new appliances…and a ping pong table in the finished basement! There is zero road noise, a pretty gazebo, and Weber grill on the patio. We had everything we needed and more. This is a 5-star stay. We would definitely book again!

Home away from home in full luxury

In summary, our 2 British kids didn't want to go back to uk after staying for only 1 hour. 5 star Casa22

We usually stay at the Ritz downtown but needed to be in the suburbs for a wedding. The standards of Casa22 are the same as the Ritz. The entire home is so thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. I appreciated the beautiful built in closets where you have ample room. I can’t wait to visit again.

Visiting family and usually stay in hotels downtown but saw this property near family. It is completely brand new. It is much bigger than expected. The finished basement has gym, ping pong table, another sitting room with tv. The managers were extremely responsive and made sure everything was going smooth. Disliked: Listing accuracy
There was no privacy - the curtains were shear - you could see everything inside from the outside. The house is close to the neighbors and they can see right through the kitchen window which doesn’t have a curtain or shade. People on the street could see everything from outside. The place was cold and you could not adjust the temperature. The garage floor was very slippery - we had several instances of slips. Not worth the money - just an average ranch house not very luxurious. No extra amenities to qualify as luxurious.

We believe that’s a retaliation review because we ask you to pay an extra cleaning fee for the extended cleaning was need it after your visit. We would like to clarify that the additional cleaning charge was applied by our professional cleaning company due to the condition of the floors after shoes were worn inside the property during snowy conditions. This resulted in significant snow and salt residue, particularly near the entry from the garage area into the coffee room who has hardwood floors, which required extended cleaning. As outlined in our house rules, shoes are not permitted inside the home, and these rules are agreed to at the time of booking.You didn’t follow any of them. Regarding the kitchen, the absence of shades or curtains is fully disclosed and clearly visible in the listing photos. All other areas of the home, including the living room and bedrooms, are equipped with drapes that can be closed to ensure privacy. Concerning the temperature, the home is equipped with a Nest thermostat that is easy to adjust. From the beginning of the stay through checkout, we did not receive any communication from you regarding this or any other concern. We sent all check-in information in advance and attempted to follow up during the stay. Had we been informed of any issues, we would have been happy to help.Was no communication from you.

This was a large sized house in a great Skokie location. We flew in from out of town and appreciated being close by to nearby family in addition to multiple grocery stores and shops. We were two blocks away from a park that was great for our two young children. All three rooms had queen sized beds; the primary bedroom had an attached bathroom. There was a lot of closet space. There was room for a travel crib and slumber pod tent for our baby, as well. There are blackout curtains in each bedroom which helped with our jet lag. We learned that garbage pickup is on Fridays. The only drawback, if any, was that the previous tenant must have created a lot of trash for the cleaning staff, as the garbage bins were quite full, leaving less space for our trash. We view this as the fault of the previous tenants or the cleaning staff, not the house owners. The large kitchen and basement, including laundry, were exactly what we needed traveling with young kids. Many thanks to Narcis for being incredibly responsive and helpful. We will likely book this property again next year. Thank you!
