The house was so much better than the pictures. Everything was super clean. The location was convenient for groceries and eating out. Also a short drive to Tonto Natural Bridge Park. We enjoyed our stay.
Great place. Our kids loved it. Plenty of space for a family of 6. Totally equipped with everything you need! Does not open up to usable forest land- it’s marked as private property. We were expecting more room for our kids to roam.Overall loved it here! Would do it again.
We had wonderful getaway. The cabin was spacious, very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We definitely recommend and plan on coming back.
This place was everything we were looking for and more. Plenty of space, everything you could possibly need, and views that just can't be beat! If you like the photos, you will love it in person!!! We comfortably slept 10 people (4 adults and 6 kids). My kids had and absolutely blast. This was a great break from the scenery of the Phoenix area!
We were pleasantly surprised by how awesome this cabin was. Nicer than shown in the pictures and plenty big for the 11 of us. The location was perfect and elk were abundant. Thank you! Everyone wants to go there again!

Super Nice!
We really enjoyed our stay here, lovely view and deck. Comfortable beds and clean place. The only reason we gave 4 stars, was because the TV didn't work. We visited with our parents and wanted to use Netflix in the evening, and after many tries, and contacting owner, it still didn't work. Otherwise, we were happy.

We are so sorry about the TV not working properly for you during your stay. We had to reboot the entire system and then we were able to reconnect to the wifi. We added Roku to the system and that should help to prevent the TV from disconnecting to the wifi. We are very sorry and if you decide to come back we promise we will make it up to you.
Thanks,

The cabin was exactly as described and is great for large groups. The upstairs master bedroom does share the bathroom with another room that has 2 queen beds. It was not a big deal for us as we had 4 adults and 8 kids and didn’t plan on having a privacy. :)With that said, the upstairs bedroom with the 2 queen beds was great for the teenagers as it had a tv and enough space for them to hang out and have privacy. The 2 sided fire place was great as people can enjoy it from.the kitchen or family room.We have saved this as one of our favorites so we can return as we love Pine.
I treated my family to a four day weekend and could not have asked for a better stay. The cabin was very spacious and had everything you could ask for and need to enhance the VRBO experience. The surrounding area was beautiful and wildlife everywhere including dear, Elk, rabbits and javelina. The proximity to the town was literally a drive down the hill and had the best shops, restaurants and breweries. I have stayed with family members in different cabin type homes for family vacations and the overall thoughts were this home and property were by far the best yet. And talk of renting this same place again.
This was a great place to stay, beautiful view, saw some elk right outside! Cabin was very nice, clean and spacious, lots of parking! Would definitely recommend!
It was a wonderful stay! It was my family, "Grandma" , and my brother in law's family all staying together for a long weekend. The hosts were friendly and responsive. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. The location was perfect for what we wanted.
There were a few things that were a little less than ideal for us - for instance the double queen bedroom wasn't technically a bedroom. It was only accessible to the rest of the house by passing through the master bath and bedroom. And I think maybe they forgot to turn the hot water temperature off of "vacation mode" because it never really got as hot as I'd prefer. But those were minor details - the wonderful space made up for it! Thank you for the wonderful memories!
Wonderful location, beautiful views and it snowed while we were there between Christmas and New Year's. Nicely stocked kitchen with great appliances. Would stay there again. Our only slight difficulty was finding good firewood to buy. Take your own if you have the ability to transport it.
My 3 daughters and the grandchildren enjoy taking an annual trip for a few days to Pine. We love this house, especially since it backs to the forest. Kids went on a scavenger hunt and saw elk too! The house is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.
Very nice property with a wonderful view. We really enjoyed listening to the elk while eating dinner on the back porch. Kitchen was very well stocked. Light switches throughout the house we're a little confusing as some don't turn anything on. Lighting was a little dark. The extra bedroom upstairs was a little awkward as you have to pass through the master bath and master bedroom to access it but overall a wonderful place and a wonderful stay.
Everything about this place is perfect. We had a multi generational group and all enjoyed the amenities. The views are spectacular. Definitely will consider Whispering Pines in the future.
