It has one of the most panoramic views at the entire Marco Island beach. From a 300 square foot long wrap around balcony on the 10th floor you overlook the Gulf of Mexico, the 5 mile white sandy crescent beach from tip to tip, the state nature preserves, a large heated pool, and the lush Marco Island skyline just beyond Clam Bay. Step outside from the living room or either bedroom to the lanai and absorb the beauty this corner of paradise has to offer. By day, you will see nature all around, diving pelicans, jumping fish, and sometimes playing dolphins. Late afternoon you will witness magnificent sunsets and feel a pleasant breeze coming off the warm gulf waters; later in the dark you see even from the inside a beautiful lit condo skyline toward the south. - Inside the condo you may relax in roomy, updated and comfortable accommodations. The living room got bran new Hurricane windows, rich Brazilian Cherry hardwood floor, two new sofas, and also a new 46' LED widescreen TV. You may want to dine at one of the many fabulous restaurants or just stay home and sit at the dining room table for dinner while gazing outside at the water and bypassing boats, and also watch from inside beautiful sunsets. Floor to ceiling sliding doors are leading from each room to the 50 by 6 foot tiled and furnished lanai. This corner unit is a truly relaxing retreat. We had wonderful weather and a good time on Marco Island. Johanna’s place was nice-we did need to clean surfaces in the kitchen upon our arrival as the fridge and counter were still sticky but other than that, we enjoyed our stay!

Dear Cynthia,
I am sorry that the kitchen was not cleaned properly. My regular good cleaning person since more than ten years who cleans both of my apartments in that building was unable to clean this time and I had to use a fill-in person, who obviously did not do a good job.
However, if you would have formed me immediately when you arrived, I could have sent a cleaning person again the same day to make up for it.

First of all i have to say that the apartment is much better in person than in pics. Super clean, comfortable and the best views you can have. Johanna was very kind and explain everything before arriving about check in process and condo rules. The building was very well kept and organized and the staff super friendly. Walk to the beach is a bit long but worth every step. We enjoy very much our stay and for sure will come back here next time in Marco Island

Best view on the island!
Four Adventure Bridge ladies had a great time at the condo. It is the best place to view the ocean sunsets plus the bird sanctuary. We saw many ibis, pelicans, herons etc during our stay. The dining room windows are new and specially tinted. Johanna was available via internet when I had questions. Restaurants we loved: Red Rooster, Mango's Dockside Bistro, Cafe' de Marco north on Bald Eagle Drive, The Liitle Bar in Goodland and the Sunset Grille on the south end of Marco Is. We also drove to Everglades City for lunch and saw 12 alligators in the canal as we were driving! One update we would like: better towels available. . . they are getting worn. We used the blender to make morning smoothies each day. It was indeed a fantastic stay for us on Marco Island. Loved the access to the balcony from each bedroom and the living area, plus the four recliners in the couches! Glad we found this condo on VRBO.
We had a wonderful time staying at this unit. The views, especially at sunset, are amazing. The short walk to Tiger Tail beach was fantastic.
The overall location of the south seas property on Marco Island is also very convenient. It is less than a mile to a number of restaurants, grocery stores and souvenir shops.
Our only not so great experience was getting into the building the first time. All entrances are accessible by key only and there did not seem to be a way to contact the main office to get into the building.
We were able to get in when another resident was leaving and once we found the office, everything went great from there.
The property also has a nice pool, a shell washing station, and convenient laundry rooms on each floor.
The unit we stayed in was well equipped and had plenty of linens and towels. They also had a beach umbrella and 2 chairs with a folding cart that came in very handy.
The parking garage next to the building was very nice as well. There were several times when it rained and being under cover really helped.
As an older couple, we found the unit perfect for us and will definitely plan to stay there again if we ever return to Marco Island.

Pros: The view is amazing!!!! The pool is wonderful!!! The size and layout of the condo is perfect for a family of 4. The security of the condo and community was excellent!! And the wildlife visible from the condo was fantastic!!
Cons: First of all there is an extra $100 registration fee due to the condominium office that we were not made aware of until 3-4 days prior to check in. The check in process was stressful, since we had to wait for someone to exit the building to get in because the keys were in the building. This condo is woefully out of date. The beds were old, very uncomfortable and the amount of accumulated dust and matter between the frame and the headboard in the master was terrible. The blinds were a nightmare to deal with. The couches were old, torn up and uncomfortable. The rugs could use a good washing/cleaning!

Adequate stay, furnishings need to be replaced
The condo had a spectacular view and is part of a well kept complex. However the furnishings in the condo are worn and are in desperate needed of replacement—the leather couches are worn, lumpy, ripped, stained; the dining room chairs are worn and parts are threadbare; the comforter in the bedroom is torn; the vertical blinds are not fully operational and do not block out light; the fry pans are scratched, finishes throughout are worn,etc. The property has the potential to be a magnificent stay, but the time had come to replace the furnishings. Additionally, the owner could be more hospitable pointing out what is available to us instead of telling us to be careful of her furnishings which already need replacing. I particularly was offended to see nicer bedding in the closet with a note to not use them; the comforter allotted to us was torn in places and very worn. Housekeeping was adequate—there were several strands of black hair on walls and countertops and black (mold?) around the shower knob. Overall, not a welcoming stay and would not recommend until it has been updated.
Great location, right on the beach. Beautiful ocean views and gorgeous sunset views. Great communication with homeowner. We had a blast. Would recommend this rental!
Our stay in Marco Island was great. The property is well cared for and clean. The views were amazing. The porch wraps around to the front of the unit so you can see sunrise and sunset. I would highly recommend.

The pros:

The cons:
The owner inaccurately accused me of damaged fridge drawer, that was broken before we arrived. There was a broken closet door which she found out about during our stay through her cleaning crew. This is all delinquent communications.
It's only been 2 weeks since we have checked out and she has called me twice to hound me about the keys. I have mailed them about a week ago and have a receipt. She probably will receive them in the next day or so. I cannot control the speed of usps. If she wanted them sooner she should have a drop box and have someone take care of it or send a prepaid envelope with the method she wants it sent. I physically went to the post office to return the keys. This is way beyond what a renter is normally expected to do. When she mailed the keys to me it was sent regular postage. She is claiming the keys are worth $110. If this is true why didn't she insure them herself?!
The linens are from the 80's and towels are stained and ragged. The kitchen full of unusable items, peeling toxic nonstick pans, black caked cookie sheets and the coffee pot iis not what"s pictured. but something from the 80's. The furniture had so many patches and stains. The list goes on and on.
She is also saying we had excessive laundry and was charged an extra $25 from her cleaning crew. I had to sort through the towels to find the few that weren't disgusting. It was cold the last 2 night's we were there so we used another blanket. There was no mention on the booking site that I was expected to do laundry on these items. What am I paying for?!
We paid $2688 for a weeks stay in a very outdated and non updated unit. Most of the items are not expensive to replace every once in a while. She hasn't updated them in decades!
I have formly filed.a complaint with VRBO because she is calling, texting and sending me emails about these keys. I'm feeling harrassed! VRBO highly recommended I post a review. I initially wasn't going too but after these events I feel I had too.

It is apparent, that Kim D's review is a very rear exception to the many other reviews on this listing. About 50% of our guests are repeat renters, who no longer place reviews.
The key package consisted of two apartment keys, one magnetic key, one gate key, one laundry card, and very detailed "Directions" about the party's arrival and depature. I mailed the package to Kim D. with a tracking number 15 days prior to their arrival. Kim received it within 4 days.
In the “Directions” it clearly states politely: “VERY IMPORTANT: WOULD YOU PLEASE BE SO GOOD AND MAIL BACK IN A PADDED ENVELOPE ALL FOUR KEYS AND THE LAUNDRY CARD. IT WOULD BE GOOD IF YOU COULD PUT THE KEYS IN THE MAIL ON THE DAY OF YOUR DEPARTURE OR THE NEXT DAY, SINCE I WILL NEED THE KEYS VERY SOON AGAIN". Kim, you did not object to that, but rather ignored it! Eight days after Kim’s departure I had to call her to find out when she had mailed the keys back? The answer was: “a few days ago”. The key package has not arrived yet as of the day of this writing, April 21, 18 days after her departure. - On April 16 was the last day that I was able to claim the missing keys, which I did. - I had to hire and pay a person to have new keys cut at the lock smith, because I needed them urgently.
All this got Kim D. very upset which prompted her to post this exceptional review.
I became aware of the damaged closet door on the same Saturday morning, when Kim arrived in the afternoon. I was not able to get it repaired that quickly because of a broken part. I called her and asked if I should send a repair person during her stay? She wanted not to have it repaired during her stay and she would be good with it as is. SO, I DEFINITELY DID NOT ACCUSE HER OF THE DAMAGED DOOR.
I was informed of the broken drawer inside the refrigerator the day of Kim's departure when the apartment had been cleaned. I called Kim to find out what happened? She replied that the drawer was not damaged during their stay and that they hardly used the refrigerator. (They occupied the apartment with four people). Shortly after that she called me back and informed me that one of the members in her party just told her that the drawer was already broken when they arrived. I left it that way and I DID NOT CLAIM IT OR ACCUSED KIM OF IT.
There are two very comfortable leather reclining sofas which were probably damaged from pointy keys in pockets. They have been patched in exactly the same color and material and I never received any complaints about it before. Those are the only patches on furniture!
It is impossible to prevent stains on all the fabric and leather chairs, which are partly due to sun screen lotion, which is extremely difficult to remove completely.
The towels and linen got stained when someone had washed them together with other colored materials and sometimes also added bleach to non-white laundry. I hear about this problem from very many other owners as well. I will try my best to take care of that.
I was not aware of the bad nonstick pans and cookie sheets, which I also will take care of.
Yes, the kitchen is well stocked, which all of my other rental guests appreciate very much!
In the “Directions”, which I had sent along in the key package, it also states clearly in another paragraph: “ON THE DAY OF YOUR DEPARTURE, YOU MAY LEAVE ONE LOAD OF LAUNDRY BEHIND (BED LINEN AND TOWELS YOU USE THE LAST NIGHT/DAY) FOR OUR CLEANING PERSON TO TAKE CARE OF. SHE WILL CHARGE ME FOR EXTRA LAUNDRY.” - Again, Kim, you did not object to that. - You left an extra load of dirty laundry behind, mostly bath and beach towels, and not any blankets, as you had mentioned. I have a photo of the extra dirty laundry! My cleaning person charged me extra for it.
I certainly did not receive $2,688 from you. The apartment was listed for that high season week for 2,045, plus $125 for cleaning, which is among the lowest rates for a front corner unit in that complex.
Your review is very unfair, not entirely true, and over exaggerated.
The condo is in a 19 story high rise with 3 slow elevators. The condo was as described. The decor could use the expertise of a professional decorator and new linens. Additionally, it would have been most helpful to include some household items....garbage bags, dishwasher soap, spare toilet paper, etc. The appliances were fine. The speakers on the TV were 'blown'.
However if you want to go to Marco Island, the location is satisfactory.

I like to apologize, I should have informed you prior to your arrival so that you would not have been surpised. We no longer provide those supplies which you have mentioned. That is out of safety precautions due to Covid-19. - It actually reduced your cleaning bill from $150 to $125.
About the TV, you are the first person who informed me via this review. I was not aware of it. If you would have called me during your stay, we could have addressed the problem.
The location was amazing - stunning view of the beach and sunset. Can’t beat it!
Apartment has everything you need and very clean.

I stayed here for 3 weeks in January 2021. Johanna was wonderful to work with. Checking in and out was a breeze. The property was just as the pictures show. It was quiet, comfortable, clean...and the view was outstanding! It was a perfect view of the wildlife preserve, beach and the Gulf. It was nice to have dinner at the dining table while watching the sunset. I really enjoyed my visit and would highly recommend staying here. Thank you, Johanna!
The condo was very clean and comfortable and the building and grounds were very well kept. The owner was easy to work with and very responsive. It was a long walk to the beach, but we knew that when we made the reservation. There was a nice view of the natural area from the balcony. It was our first visit to Marco Island and we enjoyed the area very much.

You walk in and wow, the view is amazing.

Another excellent Marco Island vacation! This was our first time staying in South Seas after coming to the island for over 30 years. The condo was very clean and more than enough space for our family of 4. Some things are outdated and could use an update (ie, towels), but I would stay here again in a second. The view was amazing. Great time!
The condo was inviting and equipped with everything we needed. The best part by far is the wrap around deck, giving spectacular views. Worth every penny. The pool and the grounds very well maintained! We were disappointed that it was such a long walk to the beach, but did not deter our good time. Working with this owner was a delight. She supplied us with all information needed about the condo & the building. Any question or issue was addressed quickly. We would not hesitate to go back!
