We had a great stay. The 4 year old called it a beautiful fake home. This place provided a comfortable home away from home for a stay in beautiful Colorado.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in
The location was good, but unfortunately, things went downhill from there. There were only two rolls of toilet paper and no paper towels available. We asked for more and were told they would be provided, but they never arrived. There were also no washcloths, dish towels, dish soap, shower soap, or shampoo, which made it difficult to properly wash dishes or shower. The apartment also had a musty basement smell. We ended up buying air fresheners ourselves. There were already some old air fresheners in the apartment, so clearly this had been an issue before. The cupboards also contained open packets of food and a whole garlic clove, which certainly didn't help with the smell. The biggest issue by far was the lack of control over the AC. We had zero ability to adjust the thermostat ourselves. When we asked if the AC could be lowered, we were told the thermostat was controlled by the people living above the apartment. We asked if the AC could at least be turned on, and it was turned on for about 15 minutes before being shut off again. We had a very difficult time sleeping because of the temperature. We were told the thermostat was set to 70 degrees and could hear the system running, but on the second night, no air was actually coming through the vents.Lastly, we were given no checkout instructions. I messaged the host but I never received a response.Overall, the musty smell, the temperature issue, and the lack of communication made this a very disappointing stay.
