Clean, spacious and great location!! The bedding was soft warm and comfortable.
The commuter rail may pose a trouble if light sleeper. We enjoyed watching them pass from back patio.
Everything was clean and organized. We got a valentine's day card and chocolates which was very nice. The couch was extremely comfortable. We expected the train noise so it wasn't so bad but the whole house shakes so just be aware and is quite loud. The hot water in the shower went cold after a little bit which was not the best. Just don't take too much time in the shower. Parking was not too bad. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Nice roomy cottage
The parking is manageable but competitive in the evenings. Other than that, if you don’t mind the location, it is a great house

Great Gloucester Getaway
The location was convenient. Close to attractions and restaurants. The location was relatively quiet. The train really wasn’t a bother. We actually looked forward to hearing the train. Everything was as expected.
The home is spacious, with high ceilings. Plenty of outlets, good ac, and no problems with the WiFi except that the network is the password and the password is the network on the info sheet

Great for Salem Haunted Happenings Visit!
This property was right by train station and several quick stops for sundries. The train did not bother us (earplugs work well) and the accommodations were clean and comfortable!

Convient
The location, though the train is in the backyard, was very convenient. As a coffee drinker, Dunkin was a couple min walk. My boyfriend and I planned this trip around going to Salem for halloween so having the train within walking distance was perfect. If you are a light sleeper, this may not be for you. But with that we were both so tired from exploring the beautiful city that we didn't notice too much. Definitely a great stay!

Beautiful house but very loud
The house itself is very nice. It was clean and comfortable inside. However to say you hear bells and whistles from the train is a vast understatement. In be master br your head is about 15 ft from the train. It runs til about 1 am. So you’re hearing and feeling the train all night long. Additionally the cars and motorcycles tearing by all night long makes it loud even when the train is not present. There were also a lot of ants in the kitchen and bathroom. Finally the lack of parking on a busy weekend made finding street parking a challenge.

Stay if you like train vibrations and traffic noise
There was nothing in the Vrbo description about it being right next to a commuter train and a fairly busy street. The place lacks a dishwasher and w/d. The bathroom was ridiculous: tiny shower, no towel bars, ring for hand towel or even a toilet paper holder. And it has a motion detector light in the bathroom that kept going off every minute or less. The thermostat kept resetting itself to a high temperature, making us needing to get up and set it back to what we are used to.
On the plus side, although very sparse in decor, it was fairly modern and updated. They had super soft bed covers. And it’s across from an amazing Portuguese restaurant, and Dunkin’ Donuts was two doors down.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, Jennifer. We apologize for the issues that you encountered during your stay. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention and allowing us to review and address it accordingly. Our local operations manager confirmed that they will work with the owner to address these concerns and discuss the options to make the bathroom more inviting. The train is disclosed on the listings and in the guests' trip manager in multiple locations. The train proximity can also be seen from the google maps. Also, this home is not advertised as having a dishwasher or washer or dryer, it is advertised as having coin-op laundromats nearby. Additionally, our team will take a look at the kitchen for any carpenter ants and have it treated accordingly. We hope to have the opportunity to better serve you in the future.

LOUD train and not clean
The furniture was comfortable and it is a pretty space but there were power tools left on the coffee table, a random pretzel on one of the bedroom doorways, and there were ants. There isn’t a dishwasher, so you’re relying on the cleanliness of the last guest to hand wash the dishes they used. Needless to say, dishes were grimy and needed to be rewashed before being used. The water pressure in the shower is really poor.
The listing said there was one parking spot, but we couldn’t locate it and when I reached out to guest services, we were told it was street parking only. All the street parking in front of the property was taken so we had to drive up the hill and down another side street. On our last day we saw that there actually IS a parking spot reserved for the property right across the street. It would've been nice if guest services actually knew that. Not that it mattered, since someone was parked in it the whole time we were there.
We were also furious about the train. It is right in the backyard of the house and it runs at all hours of the night. It shook the house as it rode by. The sound of the horn blaring and the flashing lights kept us up all night.
There also seemed to be a security camera outside the house, which is fine, but it was not disclosed in the listing.
I would not recommend this property.

Charmant et simple intérieure comme la photo sauf à l’extérieur le bruit des trains qui dérangent et aussi attention avec les fourmis en dedans de la maison .
On a bien apprécié l’endroit quand même.
Quand les trains ne passe pas c’est très paisible dans les environs.
