The cabin was awesome and in a fantastic location. Peaceful surroundings and not too far from activities. We were in town for a wedding but then also enjoyed Wellington State Park, Profile Falls, and various local fishing spots. Dan is an excellent host, great communicator and everything was easy. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Thank you! Please come back to the cabin. You are welcome anytime, Dan
The host was extremely helpful throughout. The home was all that you could hope for in a log cabin… nicely decorated, cozy, comfortable, extremely well-stocked with all the amenities , and an absolutely amazing view. The beds were extremely comfortable. We highly recommend and hope to stay again the next time we are in the area.
We had a wonderful stay at Dan’s cabin with a couple of beautiful days skiing at nearby Ragged Mountain. House was very clean upon arrival. Dan communicated very well both prior to our arrival and during our stay. Had fun by the fire building puzzles and playing games at the large kitchen table! First floor games were a hit with the kiddos. Thank you Dan, we hope to be back for another family ski vacation next year!
We loved staying in the log cabin. Great mountain views and the place had so many amenities, we were impressed. There's a guitar, phone chargers in every lamp, binoculars, and so many more. The place look new, and was very clean. We loved our stay.

What kind of nice experience with Joe. He left the place nice and clean. Communication was easy. Follow the house rules and no complaints from the neighbors.. I hope he comes back to the cabin sometime
We were not able to be there due to a health problem, but our guests stayed instead, and loved the place. All was in pristine shape, the view wonderful, and they would highly recommend a repeat visit when we are in the area to see family.

Great property! Everything was great. The only con is that you can not listen to music outside. It would have been nice to sit by the fire pit at night and listen to some music.
We stayed at Dan's cabin in May and it was a wonderful visit. The cabin has everything you need and so many thoughtful details. There were 6 of us, 3 couples, and we never felt cramped or like we were stepping on each other. The amount of space was great. The kitchen is equipped with everything you may need and making family dinners was a real treat. It is out of the way and very quiet. The beds were comfortable, the space was clean, there were many items available in the bathrooms if we had forgotten anything, we would have been covered.Dan called me before I left for New Hampshire to just go over check-in procedures and to let us know there was work being done on the deck. He texted me 1 or 2 other times during our stay to ensure we were happy and see if we needed anything/had any issues. He was available, but not obtrusive, which is exactly what I look for in a host. I will definitely stay here again should I need accommodation in the area in the future.
Our stay at the cabin in February was great! Despite a ton of snow on the ground and a storm on our first night, the whole process was easy and well managed, with prompt plowing. The cabin was cozy and well stocked with everything we needed. And Dan was super responsive and helpful when one of our party got a car stuck in a snow bank. 20 mins to Ragged mountain! Great stay!
Great views, so quiet, clean, comfortable and well equipped for a family get together. The place is essentially brand new and very well built. Me and my wife along with our 3 adult children and spouses and 4-week-old grandchild all fit very comfortably. Not far from grocery and town center amenities but far enough away to appreciate the feel of the wilderness. Highly recommended!!!
Well, just WOW! What a find! This was fabulous.. although described by the owner as ..work in progress, this substantial cabin is already well established and offers extensive and varied amenities for family vacation - particularly where that includes three generations. Something for everyone.
Once the finishing touches to the grounds are completed, it will be quite sensational. The secluded location has superb views and offers great opportunities to relax and enjoy wildlife and birdsong. At the same time the lakes and ski resorts are easily accessible. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.
