Situated in the popular Oceanwoods section on Kiawah Island's West Beach Village, this lovely 3 bedroom home is just down the street from the beach and within close proximity to the Sanctuary hotel and Night Heron Park. Beautifully remodeled with custom finishes and details, it is an incredible spot to enjoy all that the Resort has to offer!

Entering the cottage, you'll be impressed by the expansive open floor-plan and gorgeous wood-plank vaulted ceiling. The remodeled kitchen features custom cabinets and countertops, tile backsplash, and modern stainless steel appliances. A triple glass door in the dining room opens to the back deck - the ideal place for grilling, dining al fresco, or relaxing with the sounds of the ocean nearby.

For sleeping, the home offers three bedrooms, all on the same main level, each with their own full bathroom. There is a washer/dryer and high-speed internet/WiFi. And this home allows one small dog for a fee.

Wonderful Kiawah villa

We stayed at this villa for a girls trip and the location (right across road from the beach) and layout of this property was ideal. The kitchen was very well appointed and made meal preparation easy. Beds were comfy and the villa was very clean. Would definitely stay here again on return trips to Kiawah.

Like being in an upscale treehouse

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is just a short walk to the fabulous beach. Well-equipped and comfortable. Our only issues were that there is very little light and the overhead light in one bedroom didn’t work. Also there is no closet in one bedroom. And the stairs to the loft are not suitable for lots is different ages.

Beautiful island location

Very clean, comfortable and well stocked. Short walk to beach. We had a lovely vacation. Would definitely stay here again. There were a couple of minor household fixes needed to take the house from excellent to perfect; electrical outlets and the towel rail in the master bath needed fixing. (We notified Vacasa and said not to worry about fixing during our stay as we could find work arounds). General observation about the area; there seemed to be daily use of leaf blowers on the street so that made it a bit noisy at times.

February beach vacation

The property is in a good location, close to the beach access and bike trails and in a quiet neighborhood. Cute place with a private outdoor deck. Going to the front door I noticed how dirty the door looked, chalking it up to pollen season. Inside layout is nice but overall it looked used. Couch with dirty cushions, holes and marks on the walls, living room lights were not bright and one we were unable to plug into the floor socket. The queen room felt like a double with little room to move around. The sheets were older. To us it appeared that the property was going to be sold and the owners stopped caring

My husband and I have been vacationing on Kiawah for more than 60 years. The Ocean Woods community is our favorite, and this cottage is the best of the many we have rented there. Updated to be roomy, comfortable, and well appointed. This is the cottage we’ll look for first the next time we head to Kiawah.

Great location, comfortable home, a few maintenance issues

Overall, this house is a great value, on a beautiful and expensive island, and the location is prime. House has plenty of space for a family group, our kids enjoyed the loft space, and the living room couch is super comfy. Very quick walk to a great uncrowded part of the beach. Now for the issues (all of which were communicated to Vacasa with no follow up until we had already checked out)... -House needs some electrical work as the fuse blew a couple times and fuse box sparked when we reset (they said they were sending an electrician on our last day) -Dryer had a sensor indicating it needed cleaning in order to operate properly- fortunately my husband can fix a dryer and was able to resolve this -Kitchen is poorly stocked if you plan to do any real cooking- the only baking sheet was severely warped, there were only 6 forks, and one of the gas stove burners required cleaning; Also the gas grill wouldn't light on its own so we had to light it with a burning plate (no firestick or matches provided with the house) -Bathroom door in the front guest bedroom has to be slammed in order to fully close because it's too big/swollen for the opening We hope Vacasa will resolve these issues (and maybe throw us a discount) since we were so patient about the lack of maintenance or response during our stay. We still enjoyed our time on Kiawah immensely and would stay here again if assured that the issues mentioned above have been addressed.

Very nice spot on Kiawah

The property was very clean and well furnished. We enjoyed the property very much. It worked out perfectly for 3 couples. We find dealing with Vacasa irritating. They treat you like criminals with threats in their communications. Not the first time we have found Vacasa rude and condescending in their communications. Threats about violating the rules which we have no intention of breaking.

At Kiawah for a wedding and this well appointed 3 bedroom with 3 full baths was the perfect setting. This ocean woods cottage has been beautifully renovated and we would definitely stay here again!

Great location at our favorite beach

The house was well-stocked and well-located - approximately 5 minutes from the beach. Beach was nice and not too crowded. The only minor complaint I'd share was cleanliness. The main areas were fine, but my daughters climbed up in the loft and found food wrappers and lots of dust, and the washing machine parts were a little moldy / mildewy.
