A Beautiful View in Shagbark

A Generac whole house generator makes your stay comfortable. Come for the spectacular view! It can be enjoyed from the hot tub, dining room or covered porch. only 4 steps from the parking area into the deluxe log cabin in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. The first floor has 2 king bedrooms, 2 baths - one on-suite, full sized washer and dryer in separate laundry room off the hall bath, 2 leather couches in great room (one with queen hide-a-bed), 2 seat recliner couch, gas fireplace with a timer and 37' LCD flat screen TV w/HD, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The loft above has a pool table, arcade game system and futon with linens. The third enclosed king bedroom with TV and DVD player and third bath complete the second floor.
You will find both Keurig and Mr. Coffee style coffee pots, some k-cup pods in different flavors, creamer pods, sugar and sweetener packets, also some snacks to start your stay. There is a basket of beach towels for the hot tub, hand pump soap at each sink, small soap packages, paper towels. 2 new toilet paper in each bathroom, dish soap, and dishwasher pods.
Relax on the long front porch which has a porch swing and rockers for a relaxing visit in the quiet and peace of this woodland log cabin.

A long gentle drive up brings you to the ridge with a great view! The log cabin sets on a fairly level area with easy parking for up to 3 cars.

The cabin is only 15 minutes from light #3 on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge and 8 minutes more from there to Dollywood. You will have 4-lane highway to the Pigeon Forge city limits then about 2.5 miles of good county roads to SHAGBARK with paved roads all the way.
The Shagbark Community has a 24/7 manned security gate with a texting system to keep guests aware of safety and helpful community information. You will find 2 common areas available to you at no cost. The meadow pavilion area by the creek has walking trail, dog park, playground, Frisby golf, tether ball, pavilion with picnic tables and a small putting green. Further along N. Clear Fork past the Community Center is the Shagbark swimming pool and large court with tennis, pickle ball, corn hole and basketball with equipment provided.

We have had pest control in weekly and remodeled the kitchen plus deep clean. It is hard to get into the cabin with back-to-back stays. We moved some guests to address these issues.

We closed down the cabin for several weeks - moving guests so we could have pest control inside each week as we remodeled the kitchen. New dishwasher is now close to the sink and getting a deep clean.

It started with directions right to the cabin. Found exactly what was listed to be there. King size bed was real easy to get a nights sleep with lots of room. Bathrooms to each bedroom was great didnt have to walk through no one else's rooms. View was gorgeous and felt self. Travel time to events very short. Enjoyed the propane pit at night to unwind. Would book again if Cathy would offer.

Wonderful cabin

My family loved this cabin. There were games to keep my children entertained. My teenager loved the twin beds in the sunroom. The kitchen had all of the basic necessities, which was much better than other cabins we have stayed in. The power also went out due to a storm but the generator started working within minutes. We will definitely consider this cabin again.

We added generators to our 3 cabins as a wind will bring down trees in Shagbark and the power line with them. Sevier County has an excellent response time for power outages but it still means no lights or water until restore. Lots of cabinets and counter space in the kitchen. So glad you had a great stay!

Family Vacation

We took our children, and grandchildren on vacation. This home was adequate for our group of 8 to feel comfortable and not on top of each other. The owner communicated with us in a timely, and friendly manner. We were excited to have bear sightings, as well as other wildlife on a daily basis. I loved the front porch with plenty of seating and swing available for relaxing.

Cute cabin

We have stayed in this cabin before and it was just as cozy and cute as the first time. It is close to the attractions but far enough to feel like you are away from it all. The owner is very responsive and very nice. Would Definitely stay again.

We love the privacy of SHAGBARK - this 1300 acre community with only 245 cabins scattered throughout is close to Pigeon Forge BUT we have the peace of Townsend on the busy side of the Smoky Mountains. We lived in Shagbark for several years before moving across the county to share a 3 acre lot with our daughter and her family. We are very excited to offer 'A Beautiful View' for your vacation enjoyment!
