This townhome is located at Island Club West in Davenport- 12 miles from Disney area, 4 miles from Walmart, and within a mile to a nearby shopping center with shops and restaurants.
Resort has a fitness center, a heated pool, basketball court, tennis court, games room, restaurant, tiki bar, and children play area.

The home has 2 floors. The first floor has a living area with Smart TV, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer.

The second floor has 3 bedrooms - with smart TV in each room.
Master bedroom has a king size bed, ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi and glass walled shower.
The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed.
The 3rd bedroom has a full size bed and a twin.

We really enjoyed our stay, the property provided everything we wanted. It was convenient for all amenities and golf courses. I would definitely stay here again.

This property was very dirty. There was dog hair everywhere, and no vacuum. My daughter has severe allergies, and I chose this property assuming since it was listed as "no pets" that there would have been no pets having stayed there. She became very ill because of the pet presence. It was not a little bit of hair, it was piles, like a dog lived there. There was human hair all over the bathrooms. I had to clean for an hour before we could use the bathrooms. Parking is incredibly stressful because the owner said we must park in a particular spot, which we paid for, but the spot was taken by another vehicle. So each night, we feared our car would be towed.

While I occasionally care for my friend's dog during visits, pets brought by guests are not permitted at the property. I have the same housekeeping for years, no complaint, they are doing a good job. The resort's office is responsible for assigning parking spaces for residents and visitors. Parking spaces are numbered and if there is a problem, call the resort's office or the towing company which is opened 24/7 to receive calls and will take care of any parking problems immediately. Visitor wants to park in front of the condo but it's none of my control. I feel sorry for the inconveniences because they are on vacation.

Location, location, location!

We looked for a property in the Central Florida area that would accept a large family dog and this is the one! The owner was very gracious and helpful. The location was perfect as we had many golf courses close by to choose from with the amenities of Orlando and Tampa just a short drive away! Great month!

Thank you for giving a review. I happened to love dogs so even if I said no pet, my heart breaks to say no because I know how you and your pet missed each other and someone is not happy. Vacation is to enjoy and so why not? I bet you enjoyed staying at my home in a resort because you told me you want to come back and stay again. When you come back I have already complied about your suggestion to a blender and small glasses. Not only that, a complete kitchen center appliance has been added to the inventory & you can now bake your favorite cookies. Thank you for having a great time staying at my Home in a Resort! Quiet, clean and restful

The home was clean and exactly as advertised. I enjoyed the quiet setting, and my grandchildren preferred to use the pool here rather than the more crowded pool at the resort next door. When an issue came up, the owner took care of it right away.

VERY GOOD VERY TIDY EXCELANT HOME FROM HOME

The owner was very good and any problem was solved very quickly. Would have stayed longer but the house was fully booked. We would defiantly stay again. Our stay was from 21 Nov until 26 Dec 2015. Shopping at Publix was walking distance. Walmart, Ross, Target all within 5min drive.

Nice stay, great weather

My family and I had a great vacation in Florida. I was initially concerned because we had never used Homeaway so I was not sure what to expect from the rental. We arrived at the unit and we could not get in. I contact Delia and found out there was 2 lockboxes on the unit. We got that resolved quickly and our vacation started. We had another hiccup when we tried to connect to the wifi at the unit later that same night. There was no SSID and the cable modem showing it was disabled. We found the paperwork Delia left for the tenants. I contacted the provider but unfortunately they would not speak with me about the issue since I did not have all the information they required to authenticate the account. It was Christmas eve and expected I would have issues getting this resolved. I tried to contact Delia on both numbers she provided. Unfortunately I was not able to contact her. I sent her an email with details of the problem. We went out on the day after Christmas to get a wifi router and the rest of the week was good for internet connectivity. The problems we experienced with the wifi were not really something Delia could control since the cable modem had wifi capabilities but the provider turned it off and I could not get them to turn it back on without the proper authentication on the account. Delia was easy to deal with and for the most part easy to contact. I was not able to contact her on Christmas eve when we noticed the the issue with the wifi but it was the start of the holiday. I was surprised the cable provider was open when I called them. I would recommend this unit to my friends and family as a place to stay if they want to be out of the hustle and bustle but still within a close drive to Disney. Thanks Delia for a great stay.

Excellent.

Terrific. Could not have gone better. Stayed for 9 days on a golf trip. Townhouse was very clean. Very safe and secure property. The only tiny glitch was that the door lock keypad battery was low and Delia had that fixed within 12 hours. Wish I didn’t have to leave!

Perfect home on vacation

We stayed at the property during Christmas vacation and is 15-20 min drive to Disney. I should say this is perfect home for vacation and i am surprised how perfectly being maintained by the owner. The home has all required household items including washer & Dryer , clean and very spacious. The community is gated, very secured and close to Pulbilx ( grocery store), CVS, etc within 1 mile. The owner is very quick on response and we simply loved our stay and will definitely prefer to stay here in future.

Great house for a family

Perfect location for Disney! We stayed with our two 9 year olds, 18 Month, mother, my husband and myself. It was a great size for all of us. The house was clean. When we come down again, we will definitely try to stay at this house. Delia was very helpful.

Overall, nice and spacious

Location was great. House was clean and tidy. Few items need repair - door bell was broken/exposed wiring; smoke alarm at entrance was dangling on wires but still functional; living room TV remote was not working (not a big deal). We used this home primarily for night time stay so that didn't bother us. Rooms were ready and in order; except linens in master bed had some kind of bad odor (like someone was still using it). To summarize, this is a great vacation home.

Sorry for any inconvenience. I had my son inspected the property and he changed the TV remote control battery which solved the problem. It helps that all bedrooms are equipped with TV. Housekeeping was advised to finish the laundry the same day because if wet laundry is left overnight it has some kind of smell. Thank you for bringing the broken doorbell to my attention, it has also been replaced & the smoke alarm is in place. You are good guests & I'm glad you enjoyed your enjoyed your vacation. The townhouse was big enough for all 5 of us to fit comfortably and provided enough room for the kids to have some space to themselves if needed. It was about a 10 minute drive to all of the Disney parks and about 45 minutes to Sea World and Lego Land. I would definitely stay here again if we go back. The only thing I would warn of is, if you go to the pool pay close attention to the closing time. The staff gives you no warning that the pool is closing, but the gate locks and the only way out of the area is to jump the fence. Other than that, the stay was amazing, no complaints.

Great owner and close to Disney

Owner is nice and accommodative. Good customer service. Our family enjoyed our stay in the clean and comfortable house and our trip to visit Disney, Sea World, and Universal Studio. The house is close to Disney and Walmart and restaurants. Not far from Sea World and Universal.

spacious 3 bedroom townhouse very comfortable

Owner was very accomodating. The property was very clean, large, and master bedroom suite was very comfortable. Home had high speed internet and great TV reception ( 3 TV's ).

I am single and retired but also work part time, as a travel agent. I split my time between Florida and Virginia. The home is well cared for and has all the comforts of home. Additionally, the resort has numerous amenities (fitness center, pool, playground) that you have access to during your stay.

Why they chose this property

I originally purchased this condo so that I would have a place to stay when I visited my father as he grew older and was unable to travel. Also, it became a vacation home for my family to stay when they visited the theme parks. Hardrock Café Casino, Tampa, is around 40-min drive where I enjoy spending a couple of hours leisure time during my visit and is also one of my favorite spots.

What makes this property unique

I chose this location because it was new construction in 2003. The previous owner purchased it as a rental and it was fully furnished. I've changed out the furniture with my own-leather couches and quality wood furnishings.
