This cabin and more impressively the setting is just absolutely spectacular. If you want a quiet, serene and stunning setting centrally located to all the Black Hills sites, this is the place. The hosts were wonderful, the cabin is very clean, quiet, well equipped and really terrific. Sitting on the front porch, looking out on a meadow and the Black Hills…doesn’t get any better!
This cabin was exactly what we were hoping for and more. Beautiful remote setting with a stunning view! And deer every evening and morning in the field right outside the front door. Note that this cabin is remote so make sure you get supplies in Rapid City before heading there. Besides that we loved our stay at Green Mountain.
Mark&Mary were excellent hosts. They checked in on us when we got there to make sure if we needed anything specific. They even gave us a tour of the place. Beautiful property. Beautiful views. Very peaceful. Large yard space for children to play. The only con was no dishwasher but that may have been ok after all as we made most of our meals at the cabin and gave our family time together taking turns washing dishes. There’s worth in that too! We enjoyed our stay and will come again for another family adventure. Thanks again Mark&Mary!
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The setting was unbelievably beautiful and centrally located for everything we wanted to see. Mary and Mark were wonderful hosts. They ensured that we had everything we needed and were available for any questions or concerns. I would definitely recommend this property, especially for outdoor enthusiasts.
Cabin getaway was perfect! We had a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a nice place to stay in south dakota out of the larger cities. The hosts were very welcoming and were very helpful and friendly.
Woukd definitely stay here again.
The cabin was perfect for our family of 5, spacious, yet lots of togetherness. Mary and Mark were great hosts. Great central spot to explore the badlands and black hills of SD.
We had a wonderful stay. Cabin & location was ideal for hitting all attractions and parks. The cabin was perfect for our family of 5. We enjoyed sitting on porch in mornings letting the woods wake up and then in the evening observing the stars. Mark and Mary were great hosts.
This was our second visit staying at The Cabin At Green Mountain. We came back just to spend more time relaxing on the porch and taking in the views! Just a perfect cabin and a great location!
