This Cape Cod has an Owners' suite w/full bath on the first floor and two additional bedrooms and a full bath on the second floor. Open foyer leads to a wonderful family room with a stone surround wood burning fireplace. The exterior has an amazing wrap around porch with great views of fields, a pond and a 3 stall barn. The 15 acres wrapp around fields, a pond and the Chickahominy River.

A Challenging Stay

Although the house was somewhat clean and furnished, there were many omission. Let's start with well below average amenities in the kitchen and bath rooms. Should not have to call host while preparing dinner on Friday night for a can opener , he did come with one. Minimum glass wear, coffee cups, pot and pans. Grill was not suitable for cooking, lucky to have aluminum foil, there wasn't much. ONE bath towel for 2 people for 3 nights doesn't cut it - this was the case also for the first floor bedroom bath. Asked about the uncut grass and was told the service was bi-weekly, Guess we picked the wrong weekend!!!. Oh, There was no waste baskets in any of the rooms. The only trash container was in the kitchen. We have stayed at a number of Vrbo listed houses in the past and the amenities were wonderful, everything you would need, it was like your own home. There were no previous reviews when we booked, now you have one. Host really needs to get his act together.
