I booked it because I was going to the White Sox play-off game. Have stayed in Chicago a lot this summer and by far this was nicest VRBO I stayed in. Pictures do not do it justice. The minute I opened the door and stepped inside I was happy. Close to restaurants, shopping, anything else you need. I will definitely book again. The only thing was the entry gate is to the left of the main gate. It is a totally different entrance.
The home was beautifully renovated and bigger than I expected! 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a rollaway bed. Beds were comfy! The kitchen has all the essentials for cooking, even if counter space was limited. There is a small grocery/convenience store about 3 blocks away for basics. The neighborhood seemed safe, and the red and green line trains are within a 10 minute walk from the house. Street parking is free. The homeowner was very responsive to messages.
