I spent 2 nights here early January. One night with my family of 4 to include my husband, 12-year-old and 9-year-old and one solo with just my husband. Ohana Beach Resort was the perfect fit for both our family and for us as a couple. I was pleasantly surprised at how close the beach was to the unit. As you turn the corner of the street, it is directly in front of you. The stretch of Holmes beach was great to walk, collect shells, lounge at and watch the sunset. The closest beach entry point to the unit was perfectly populated without being crowded and had the option of walking right towards Manatee Beach for public amenities (bathroom, snacks, volleyball nets). The pool set up was great behind the unit with a variety of styles of chairs, tables and pool toys. The warm water was perfect for our chilly January day. The unit was tastefully decorated. Timeless and simple with lovely and comfortable furniture that had character. Our favorite touch was the cozy and large blankets, comfortable beds and the bedroom TVs. It was easy to work with property management and check-in/out details were simple and clear. The management provided local recommendations for the area. Being in the middle of the island and on the main road, the location was convenient to all of Anna Maria Island as well as Long Boat Key and the Cortez fishing village. A parking spot was right in front of the unit. The nice, warm shower and laundry shared between units was appreciated. Recommend 100%.

Wonderful stay!!

This property is beautiful and immaculate. From the pool to the comfortable beds to the well stocked kitchen, everything is top notch. A short walk to beach - pool chairs, umbrella, a cooler, sand toys, and a wagon are provided. Communication with the host was easy and timely. Location is middle of island so good for seeing both ends of the island without traveling too far. Trolley stop right across the street. Property is on a busy street but is still quiet and private.

Perfect!

We were very happy and impressed with the property, from booking to check in and enjoying our week on the island, this property met all of needs and them some. Tastefully decorated, clean, quiet and a great proximity to the beach. It was a huge plus to have beach chairs and a wagon to use. Definitely 5 stars! Excellent spot for a tropical getaway!

This space was perfect for a tropical getaway. It was so clean and well stocked with the essentials. The cleaning staff alone deserve 5 stars! We really enjoyed having access to a beach wagon, chairs, umbrella, and cooler bag. It made it so easy to spend all day at the beach! The pool was very nice and we liked the set up with plenty of seating. Great location and easy walk to a beach access.

Cute and comfortable, perfect location

What a lovely place! My extended family of 8 rented all 3 units. Each unit is unique, but they are all so cute! We had such a good time! We loved hanging out by the beautiful pool area, and it was great to be walking distance from Walgreens, the grocery store, and Holy Cow (ice cream shop). We recommend walking to breakfast at Paradise Bagels- delicious! The beach is a very short walk, so we’d go during the day but also went for several sunset walks along the beach. The building is on a main road, but honestly the traffic wasn’t that bad during our stay, and we spent our time by the pool instead of the front yard. My family that stayed in this unit (Unit B), really enjoyed it. Very clean and such cute decorating. The living and kitchen areas are more of a galley style, so more narrow, but they liked having both bedrooms next to each other upstairs. The bathroom is also upstairs, and just a note, the shower is somewhat short, so take note if you’re a tall person! My brother is 6’4”, so he had to scrunch down, but made it work. We all really loved and highly recommend this place and hope to stay here again!

Great property and host, would recommend

Overall the property was just as advertised, if not better. Perfect for our small family of 4 (two adults, 2 kids ages 1.5 and 4). Property is conveniently located about a 2 minute walk from the beach and similar distance to a small shopping center with Walgreens, an ice cream shop, etc. The backyard pool area is amazing, it was a struggle getting our kids to leave the property and go explore the island because they loved the pool so much. We spent several evenings grilling and hanging out back there. Communication with host was top-notch, including all the great recommendations. Overall, we were very pleased with out stay and would go back in a heart beat. Thanks Rex!
