Lovely cottage-style one-bedroom beach apartment in two-family Victorian home in Ocean Grove just three houses to the beach.

Enjoy Ocean Grove's beautiful beaches and friendly, quaint small town feeling. One of Fodor's Top 15 beaches of the world. That amazingly special beach town with an old-fashioned ice cream parlor in operation for over 100 years! Step back in time to this turn-of-the-century modern-day Victorian resort by the sea.

Ocean Grove is a charming place to relax and decompress from the stress of daily life. This beach house is located on a pretty street in a desirable south end neighborhood just a stone's throw from the boardwalk. We are also close to the fishing pier and steps away from the showers and facilities on the simple beautifully-restored boardwalk- and the cute snack shack on the beach. Park and tennis court nearby. The front yard and barbecue grill are available for your use. The train to NYC stops a short walk away at the nearby Asbury Park or Bradley Beach train stations. The Academy bus to New York City picks up and drops off right in town.

This 1-bedroom apartment is on the first floor and has a spacious feeling. A breezy open air porch with awnings and views of the ocean is right outside your door. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a pull out comfortable sofa-bed in the comfortably appointed living room which can accommodate additional person(s). Unlike many vacation rentals, most things you need will be available for your use (soap, dish and clothes detergent, etc.) Laundry facilities on site.. ENTIRE PROPERTY IS NON-SMOKING - inside and out. No pets.

There is a ceiling fan and air conditioners throughout. Two beach passes are available for your use. Washer/dryer on site.

The summer season is June, July, August and early September. Full season (October - May) winter rental may be available.

NOTE** VRBO recommends paying for damage insurance, it is a good idea and we recommend it also. I have chosen to include the minimum insurance option which costs $59. However, if you do not take it, you will automatically have to keep a credit card on file in case of damage. You may also be asked to pay a fully refundable damage deposit of $1500 with your booking.

Please turn off lights, lock doors and windows and leave keys in unit and lockbox where found upon arrival. Thank you!!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Tenant is responsible for removal of all trash and recyclables prior to departure. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.
A detailed rental agreement for your review and signature will be emailed to you upon booking.
Small celebrations/gatherings are permitted in cooperation with all house rules and local ordinances. Quiet hours outside and on porch 10 pm- 8 am.

Perfect and in the 1st block to ocean. Ocean Grove, NJ is a wonderful town and beach. First time visiting and people very nice. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on Main St at Odyssey Coffee for a latte. We walked the boardwalk from Asbury Park to Belmar. Really enjoyed our stay! Thank you.

Nice experience

The host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. The property was clean, cozy and super close to the beach as well as restaurants. We were thrilled to have access to the garage which provided safe storage for bikes and golf clubs. The property has a nice living room and TV for relaxing as well as good WiFi service. We also enjoyed the front porch at the end of a busy day! Great little getaway.

Adorable house, perfect for what we needed

My girlfriends and I stayed here during the Sea.Hear.Now festival in Asbury and the house was exactly what we were looking for: clean, within walking distance to the venue, quiet neighborhood and a great front porch for sipping our morning coffee. Fantastic communication with the owner who was accommodating to our slightly larger group of 4 adults.

Relaxing by the Sea

From the easy check in to the ambiance of the apartment and the delicious cake so graciously left to welcome us, our stay here was lovely. The view from the porch and the nearness of the beach with its amenities right at hand was exactly w hat we were looking for. My husband is a big man (6’3” & 240 lbs) and he loved having all the room to stretch out in. The decor was relaxing and all of the extras provided was so helpful in our first rental experience. There was nothing missing that we needed to enjoy our visit. Our hostess Debbie was incredibly patient with our clumsiness with using the internet and learning the in and outs of process. I have limited mobility due to MS and this property was excellent for my needs.

Great Vacation Rental

Great location. Wonderful home. Very relaxing. Short walk to the beach and the owner kindly provides passes. The only negative is parking is a problem. We saw two cars scraped by careless drivers who simply drove away without any attempt to contact the owners.

Thank you, Ladies, for a lovely review -- you were great tenants! And yes, the downside to being so close to the beach is that day trippers love to park in the first beach block. There is parking on both sides of the street, so one needs to park close to the curb or use angle parking nearby where the risk of what you (sadly) witnessed is reduced. It was a typical New Jersey beach house that was well maintained.

We especially enjoyed the relaxing pace of Ocean Grove and the location of the beach house. It was 3 houses from the boardwalk as advertised and within walking distance of many fine restaurants.The owner of the beach house called us to ensure we were satisfied with the accommodations. I would recommend the beach house for anyone looking for a place to rent in Ocean Grove.

Very clean...

My first time down the shore, it was a great experience. My apartment was very clean and cozy. It was close to all great reausturant and stores. One big plus its three houses to the beach.

2017 Ocean Grove - The Best!!

Have stayed in Ocean Grove for over 5+ years and it keeps getting better every year!!! The house is awesome!! Very quiet, quaint and a wonderful front porch with views of the Ocean. Everything is so clean and nice inside...you truly feel at home in this 1st floor rental. The porch offered awesome quiet coffee mornings and incredible evenings!! This will definitely be our new weekly summer get away!! Thank you to the owner for being so helpful, thorough and flexible!!! We had a wonderful time!!

A very relaxing time at the beach!

I stayed in this lovely apt. by the sea for one week - June 20-27, 2014. I enjoyed my stay very much - the apt. is just as pictured. The owner was very easy to work with. The location - near the south end of the boardwalk was perfect - it was very close to one of the beach entrances. Also a very easy walk to the center of town and my favorite shops - The Comfort Zone and Nagle's ice cream shop! I really enjoyed the front porch, with the ocean breezes, too! I look forward to returning to this apt. soon!
