Most importantly to me, the home was very clean. As a matter of fact, when we arrived half hour before check in time, we couldn’t get in because a nice gentleman and adorable little girl were still cleaning.

Fun Vacation, VRBO just OK

Needs attention. Listing mentioned laundry facilities, but the basement door was locked. Owner said new washer and dryer would be delivered the following week. Would have been nice if he would have let us know that in advance. there were only four towels and no wash cloths for 4 people for four days. Contacted owner. He brought out a few towels and washcloths, but we had to reuse them with no washer and dryer. Property could use some attention. Door between garage and home would not lock. Kitchen faucet was loose; had to hold it with one hand to turn on faucet with the other. Patio door blinds are a mess, and if you step out onto the back stairs, railings were barely attached. Upstairs bathroom door does not fit right. Had to be forced closed with a shoulder, and opening it sounded like someone falling down the stairs. Owner did respond with towels the next morning when asked, and talked our granddaughter through fixing the wifi connection on the television, but said he could not enter the property, so he did not make an attempt to fix the door to the garage. It's a nice neighborhood, and with a little TLC could be a great rental. Owner said he had been there the day before we came, but I don't think he spends any time looking things over.

Christmas at the New Town Neighborhood

Property was beautiful and the neighborhood had lots of homes with beautiful lights. Garage was very narrow, could not get 2 cars in. Space was just fine for our family. Had everything we needed. We even had a Christmas tree!

Visiting St. Charles to see my niece and enjoy the fabulous July 4th fireworks in the area. Such a beautiful community.
