About this property

This nicely remodeled Rocky Ridge vacation rental end unit it the very last on the edge of the national forest, enjoy peace and quiet of the mountain retreat. There is plenty of room, the unit features a spacious master suite, with a king size bed. Two guest rooms one with a queen bed and the other with two twins. There is also a small bonus room with a twin bed. There are two decks to enjoy the summer nights and in the winter you can sled, snowshoe or cross country right out the door. The main living area surrounds a huge rock fireplace and comfortable living furniture. The dining room seats 6 or more with additional chairs and there is wet bar near by for ease of entertaining. The kitchen has been updated to include granite countertops and new cabinets. There is a breakfast table off of the kitchen and a family room with a fooseball table. For your communication needs the unit is equipped with WiFi. The development is close to all that Tahoe City has to offer. Rocky Ridge is a gated community of 60 acres surrounded by State Forest Land, where you can enjoy nature on one of the many hiking or mountain biking trails just steps away. Amenities include 2 swimming pools, 2 spas, tennis, basketball, playground, Bocce Ball court and a private beach with pier, buoys, BBQ facilities, clubhouse and volleyball court. Every vacation condo rental offers vaulted mountain-style ceilings, beautiful rock fireplaces, fully equipped kitchens, all set in an open two-story floor plan.

All of our rentals come with fully equipped kitchens; most kitchens do not have pantry items due to wildlife concerns. We provide all linens and towels; most units have beach towels as well. There is a washer and dryer in every rental. Every unit has Wi-Fi. There is NO A/C, this is not commonly found in Tahoe, there are fans.

Nice clean location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The spot is very clean and well kept, stocked nicely. Nice location, this unit is right next to open space which was great. Allowed pets which is a huge bonus for us. Downside: the TVs are horrible! Small and old, for the cost of the rental tv upgrades are long over due. Couldn’t even figure out the master room tv, which had very poor instructions and ancient technology.

Beautiful Spot

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a short, but great weekend in this condo. Being the end unit, it is quiet and peaceful. We had everything we needed and would definitely come back!

Ski Holiday

We had a fantastic ski holiday and this Tahoe City rental was the perfect place for our 2 families (3 teens) to call home base. The home was lovely and comfortable, and convenient to adorable Tahoe City and skiing at Palisades. We had a great time!

Great location with a couple drawbacks

Overall the location was good and the space was great for 6 people. However, we soon realized that the water temperature in the shower was very unstable, especially when water was being used elsewhere. For example, if one person was showering while dishes were being washed, the water would go from icy cold to burning hot in seconds. Furthermore, it was difficult to sleep at night due to “furry friends” that could be heard from the floorboards, ceilings, and under the bathtub. The pitter-patter of small rodent feet was heard in multiple rooms by different people, and created concern not only for our experience but how hygienic the space was as well. While the agent responded to our concerns with assurances that these were merely squirrels, I still believe this should be addressed ASAP. Future guests in the property will undoubtedly experience the same issues that we encountered, and for the sake of a cleaner space and better night’s sleep, nothing should be able to enter the floorboards in the first place.
