Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Perfect location, great sleeping arrangements and the outdoor shower was a big hit! Definitely interested in booking again.
Comfy, cozy and clean! Our family enjoyed our stay at Sundown cottage. Great location with the beach steps away. The front porch was our favorite spot!

Loved our week in Saugatuck Douglass at sundown cottage. There are plenty of beds in this comfy cottage. It had everything we needed. We loved the proximity to Douglas’s beach and the laid back family vibe of the neighborhood. Loved it!

We love to see family and friends make memories! Thank you for choosing Sundown. We would love to have you again.
We had a great week at the cottage! The location is perfect - across the street from the beach, walkable to downtown Douglas, minutes from Saugatuck. The house was large, clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with cooking, cleaning, and beach essentials. We had a big crew and never felt on top of each other. The screened front porch was a favorite place to hang for all and the backyard was big enough for kids to play and adults to have dinner. Outdoor shower was a nice bonus after the beach, too!
Really enjoyed our stay at this Lakeshore Cottage. Kim was great to deal, responsive and nice. We comfortably slept 8 with dogs and never felt cramped. Front porch is so relaxing, back patio was great, fully stocked kitchen was used for prepping a big meal for a larger group. Weber grill, just all-around great stay.

Mark and his family left the cottage clean and were quiet guests. We would rent to them again!
This cottage is exactly what I was looking for (6 adults, 2 toddlers)… walking distance to the beach, plenty of room for gathering together, as well as places for privacy. While the house is “vintage”, it was clean and has AC, dishwasher, washer/dryer. We LOVED the expansive screened-in front porch, and the lovely deck area in the backyard. Kim, the property manager, was kind and responded immediately when we had questions. It was the perfect home base for three generations to gather, explore and enjoy the Douglas/Saugatuck area! We are a family who cooks… while the kitchen is small, it is well-stocked with glassware, cookware, utensils, and even spices. We also appreciated that there was dish soap, garbage bags, laundry soap available for use. Also plenty of towels, beach towels- plus the use of six beach chairs! The toddlers loved the wooden blocks to play with and the big basket of crayons. Even the weather cooperated! All-in-all, a great vacation with many happy memories made!
