Discover the beauty of Welaka from this 3-bedroom, 2 bath, home. Nestled atop a serene bluff, this welcoming property offers a fantastic retreat for guests. Sleeping accommodations include a king, queen, and full bed, along with a sleeper sofa. It also features modern amenities such as WiFi, washer/dryer, dishwasher, grill, fire pit, large back deck, and lots of parking. In addition, the house offers a private floating dock where you can tie up to a 28 ft boat after a beautiful day fishing or enjoying the water. Please note, access to the dock requires walking up and down approximately 36 stairs (see photo of bluff). 

Clean, modern, spacious place. Great place to stay with many extra amenities that you don’t get in other rentals. Easy check in/out and was quiet and had great views. Only issue was hot water for showers - only 2 people could shower before hot water ran out but otherwise would stay again!

We so enjoyed our stay at Sportsman's Bluff. It's funished and decorated so nicely. Its a great place if you just wamt to chill or spend time on the water. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

Quiet stay on the water

Very peaceful setting on a channel -great to sit outside on a quiet evening-watch the alligator make his tour in the morning and only 45 minutes to the beach !

Amazing time celebrating our mommies this weekend on the St John’s River. Spacious, clean, convenient, and easy check-in/check-out! Even brought up the boat, 21ft tritoon, and docked easily at the place! Will be back!!!

Sportsman's Bluff Welaka 2024

Short visit to see our daughter. We all spent two nights there together. The house was amazing!! Very clean and comfortable. Home away from home feeling. We did some fishing, hiking and went to the mud springs which was pretty wonderful. Plus a few other adventures.Enjoyed family time on this beautiful property. Come check it out for yourselves!! Thank you Christy and Jayce for the amazing time we had here.

Great Place!!!

We were very, very pleased with our stay. The place was very clean, had everything we needed and then some. I brought my boat, 27ft hybrid bay boat. Easily parked at the little dock. Water was shallow but manageable. We love Welaka and go often, but first time staying here; I will definitely be returning to this nice little Place. Beds were surprisingly comfortable, plenty of towels and wash cloths for our family of 4. A/C was cold, fridge was cold with filtered ice/water. I don’t have anything negative to say and we stayed roughly 6 days. Highly recommend for anyone traveling to the area, want water access and/or bring your boat. Also, double driveways with plenty room for 4-5 cars or 2-3 cars/trucks and a boat trailer.

Our stay at Sportsman's Bluff was fantastic! The property was exactly as described and was exceptionally clean when we arrived. There was plenty of space for our entire family to relax and enjoy our time together without ever feeling crowded. The location was perfect—easy to find and conveniently close to everything we needed around town. We truly appreciated how well the home was maintained and how accurately the listing reflected the property. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Sportsman's Bluff to anyone looking for a comfortable, spacious, and stress-free getaway. The host was outstanding—very friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with from the time we booked until we checked out. Any questions we had were answered quickly, which made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. We would happily stay here again!
