Please note that this is a three-story property, so guests should be comfortable using stairs. While the outdoor patios do not offer beach views, they do provide plenty of sunlight and a relaxing space to recharge each morning.

This was the PERFECT spot for our stay. The property is in such a convenient location - everything was in walking distance, from food to shopping and PB is a 2 minute walk away. The home was clean and very comfortable for a group of 8, and the communication was great. Would absolutely stay again!

Loved the location! Everything was within easy walking distance: beach, shopping, food, coffee, etc. We didn't even keep our rental car while we were there. The place itself was large (3 stories). My wife had to work during the week and there was enough space for her to work upstairs without me having to tiptoe around.

This property was excellent! The location was great being an easy walk to the beach and a large host of nearby food/entertainment options. Great location, comfortable and clean

We were there to have a little beach/bike and golf time to get away from the snow where we live in the mountains. Had a great time. Lots of restaurants and things to do very nearby. Our only complaint is that there’s really no useful outdoor seating which would have added to our enjoyment.

Definitely stay again

While some repairs are needed and there is very little natural light, this place was great, especially the location. The little towel rosettes and other delicate touches were sweet. The staff were excellent and helpful with everything. Check in and parking were a breeze. Thank you!!

Winter reprieve

The communication with John was amazing. He was quick to respond to any of our questions, even some before our visit. Check in was smooth, location was great. We had a water heater problem and John was quick to get the problem solved! Would definitely book again.

When I rented this property it was with the hope my family would not be subjected to the loud club scene near the boardwalk we encountered on a previous visit. Mission accomplished. Great restaurants, shopping, and of course the beach all within walking distance makes a vehicle practically unnecessary. I must mention our host, John Mepham who offered his knowledge of the area & property to ensure our stay was pleasant as possible. The townhouse itself is perfect for a large family with everything one needs including beach accessories. Hoping to return to PB again and if I do I'!! Stay here again.

Good:Host is corporate but responsive and welcoming. 2.5 blocks to beach. House was clean and beds were comfortable. Walking distance to a ton of restaurants and shopping. Not so good:no real outdoor space unless you count the two tiny balconies just feet away from the neighbors windows. No views. Kitchen is sparsely equipped with random, mostly worn non-stick cookware so you’ll need to be creative if you like to cook. As disclosed by owner, garage is deep enough for two small or mid sized cars but it’s narrow and will definitely not fit an suv or truck. It’s a 3 story with master suite on the 3rd level so be prepared for a lot of stairs. BAD: there are other units attached to this townhouse and we had a bad experience with a loud neighbors. Nothing the host can do about that but it’s worth mentioning for future guests to consider. Not ideal for young families or older adults in our opinion.

This property was the perfect fit for our purpose. The price, space and location were all great and worked very well for a working trip to San Diego. I did had a problem with the door code - it didn't work when I tried to check in and then again during the stay. I had to call the company managing the property to let us in and then change the code. Also we were not given either an early check-in or late check-out. Even though I only asked for a little more time. So very inflexible management company.

Location, Location, Location

Pros-Had a family vacation recently. Immediately loved the location. Walking distance to most everything you need and the beach. Enough space for us all to be comfortable 8ppl.Sand toys for the kids,beach towels,and chairs provided as well as board games.Cons(or maybe Im judgey)-Property is run by a rental company which I am not used to.There were a few maintenence issues we had that we didnt notice till almost end of stay. AC was the most major one. Would love to know if it got fixed for the next guest.The counter appliances seemed very low quality. Pots/Pans very scratched up.For the most part the property was ok. But no one was raving about anything but the location.

The house was great. It was well stocked with everything we could need for our stay, including all kitchen essentials and bathroom supplies. There was a couple of minor issues along the way (namely a leaky bathroom faucet), but the team was responsive and made every attempt to have the issue resolved as quickly as possible. The house was clean and well-maintained. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
