Short St John Jaunt

Great location overlooking Cruz Bay. Close to a great assortment of restaurants. Very roomy. Very nice balcony overlooking the bay and views west.

Beautiful home with a great view of Cruz Bay. Communication with the host/property manager was very good. There were coolers, ice packs, snorkel gear, pool noodles (great to use while snorkeling) and chairs available to use which was very helpful. Kids loved the pool. Definitely helpful to have a jeep as it is on a steep road. House is towards the top of the road shortly after the pavement ends and it turns into a dirt road.

If you are considering Mandavilla Rose for your stay in St. John, stop and look no more! It is a little piece of paradise located on the hillside with stunning views of Cruz Bay! This place is spacious, clean, nicely furnished with lots of seating areas, and stocked with all the amenities you need – they thought of everything! Walking down the hill is doable but we highly recommend renting a car, if you’re comfortable with driving hilly, narrow streets, and on the left side of the road. That way you can see more of the island. For our party of 5 ladies, we opted for the taxi route, and although a bit more costly, it was still worth it! Just an absolutely lovely place to stay!!! The host and property manager are wonderful as well!!!

Beautiful Place

The unit is very well kept with a very nice pool and beautiful ocean sunset views. You can tell the owner and manager take great pride in the accommodations. The unit was nicely decorated, spacious and in good order. Only the bedrooms had air conditioning, but if the doors were kept open, the great room cooled as well. One negative is that both bedrooms had wide glass double doors so there was no privacy in the bedrooms.The outdoor porch and pool were very nice, but little privacy from noisy neighbors. Convenient parking right outside the unit. Overall a great place.

Thank you Phillip. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Apologies about the curtains on the front doors. The property manager was supposed to advise you that new ones are en route. They did arrive two days ago. And they should be installed today or tomorrow. I hope you come back again soon for a visit
