My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Solitude on30A. The condo was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We really loved the easy access to the beach, which made it easy to catch the sunrise and the sunset every morning and every evening. My wife love how the beautiful Condos set above the dunes. We love the area and the many choices of venues and restaurants. Continue your professionalism and willingness to make your guest feel at home, comforting, and secure. We’re definitely looking to return in the near future.
The property was a great find for my families beach trip. The walk to the beach was two minutes from the place and super close to Rosemary and other 30A towns. The house had a huge comfy couch that everyone could fit on and tons of sitting areas on the porches and inside. I will say there were a few small flaws that can be easily fixed but are vital to this short term stay. The kitchen didn’t have basic necessities you need for cooking. There wasn’t salt, pepper, oil, or dish soap. I feel that rentals with kitchens should provide the bare minimum needed to cook at the house. Also there were no curtains for the windows in the sleeping areas and none of us could find the light switch for outdoor lights which went right into the bedroom and made it pretty bright. Other than that everything was good.
Wereally enjoyed our stay! Our host Daniel was very communicative and gave us lots of info. The location is hard to beat — the beach access is private and less than half a mile away, which was a huge plus. The house itself was spacious, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean and well-kept.A couple things could definitely be improved though. There was no hand soap stocked in the bathrooms, and many of the dishes, cups, and silverware in the cabinets were dirty when we arrived. I’m not sure if previous guests put them away dirty or if the dishwasher just wasn’t cleaning well, but it’s something to be aware of if you plan on cooking. The kitchen items in general were also pretty worn out — scratched pots and pans, melted plastic utensils, etc. I’d just recommend bringing your own dish supplies or a few kitchen essentials if you plan to cook often. We also experienced some WiFi issues during our stay, but just so happened that the property had recently been sold and the new owner needed to stop by for a quick walkthrough and to set up updated internet service. Some guests may find that inconvenient, but we personally didn’t mind, and they were kind enough to even leave us a gift card for the inconvenience. We had a great stay and the location alone made it worth it. We kept saying the whole time “I wished I lived here!” I would stay again!
