A Cozy Lakehouse Along Oneida Lake is Within Reach of Adirondacks

This cozy lakehouse along the shore of Oneida Lake provides a picture-perfect view of the water from an outdoor deck or from a full wall of spacious windows. Resting in Billington Bay, this home features sleek hardwood flooring, a spacious up-to-date kitchen, a dishwasher, and a full-sized gas range.
You'll find easy access to the spacious deck through a side door and walkway where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. A grill is available for your outdoor cooking needs. For cool evenings, a gas fireplace inside will keep you warm.
Two AC units will keep you cool in the summer. The new, clean, white bath area features a comfortable shower as well as a relaxing bath tub.
The upstairs allows sleeping for 6 guests with two bedrooms with double beds, and two single beds in the central common area near the stairs which also includes a view of the lake from a wide picture window.
Available upon request is a highchair. For guests carrying canoes or kayaks, ample space is provided in the garage area.
Fishing enthusiasts with small boats can enjoy access to the lake with the lake frontage across the entire lot and a 20' dock. Children will be happy with the shallow, gradual slope of the water's depth for swimming or wading.
Quick trips in the area could include a 5 minute ride to the new Point Place Casino which opened March 1, 2018 in Bridgeport or a 15 minute ride to Sylvan Beach for ice cream or a delicious meal. Others may choose to take the twenty minute drive to the heralded Turning Stone Casino for musical entertainment, bingo, gaming or restaurant fare. Whether you like fishing, swimming, kayaking, gaming or simply relaxing with a drink on the deck, this house is the place for you.

Quaint Lake Vacation Home

The lake house served as a wonderful landing spot for our New York vacation. We loved the homey atmosphere, the comfortable beds and the living space. We enjoyed board games at the table on a rainy morning, meals on the deck, relaxing floats on the lake, and all the special amenities provided by the hostess.

Amazing stay!

My family had our first experience renting a lake house. The house provided everything we needed and more. The lake house has a history of memories and we were able to continue that tradition. We also explored Oneida lake and all it has to offer. We went to Rosamond Gifford Zoo and Sylvan Beach. We would highly recommend this lake house. The Sexton Family, Grand Island, NY.

Wonderful Lakehouse!

We really enjoyed our time at the lake house. The house had all the amenities of home and was clean and well cared for. We enjoyed the deck and grill and made a campfire by the water. The sunsets were beautiful! We brought a bass boat with us and we were able to put it in at the boat launch down the road and tie it to the dock at the house. The property owners were helpful with answering any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Get Away at the Lake

My wife and I visited the lake house and had a wonderful stay! With the pandemic raging on, it's been difficult to plan a vacation. We desperately needed a vacation to get away from it all. The house was exactly as portrayed and more! Nothing negative to say about the house. It is well-decorated, furnished and has all the comforts of home. Nothing but 5 stars in this review. We'll definitely be back!

Amazing cottage for relaxation and reunion!

My friends and I came to Oneida for SU homecoming and a friend's wedding and we are so happy we rented this cottage. It is a beautiful home and the location is incredible - right on the lakefront! Christine and Cindy were so accommodating and welcoming. There was just enough space for all of us and it was a great spot to hang out instead of staying in a hotel for 3 days. We all commented how much we would love to rent this cottage again for future trips to central NY. We were 30 minutes from Syracuse and 30 minutes from the wedding venue, so it was the perfect location for us. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing, beautiful retreat.

Oneida Lake House

We stayed with our kids and could not have been more please with the property. The house has a very open floor plan which make it comfortable and easy the entertain and relax with the family. The decor is charming and comfortable. VERY well appointed. Everything you could need is there, including outdoor toys and games. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood and the neighbors were all very friendly. The only downside is if you have a boat the bay can be a bit difficult to navigate, as the water around the dock and well into the bay is very shallow. Mostly about 2ft deep until you get well into the bay.

Very nice cottage on the lake. The first floor open room was large enough for four adults to find quiet locations to read and to live in comfort with great views of the lake. Sunsets were excellent. Kitchen has all the things if you check all the drawers. We used the deck overlooking the lake to eat each night. The water is shallow. Less than 3 feet,some less than 2 feet, through out much of the bay so larger boats require careful planning to spare your prop. The bottom is somewhat sandy once out 30 or more feet with grass in closer. Great place to use water floats since you can stand up at any time. Water was warm. Kayaks available to check out the shoreline. Easy place to find, very quiet neighborhood. Nice neighbors.

Perfect getaway

We were so pleased with the property. The location was excellent for our daughters to kayak and enjoy time on the lake by themselves. The bay is shallow and there was very little boat traffic. The property owners have thought of everything to make sure you are never bored. My parents came for two nights and they slept on the first floor living room area only because the stairs are a little steep to the bedroom area. The loveseat pulled out for a single bed and there was an extra mattress so they were comfortable. We will definitely like to return for another visit soon Thank you

June Fishing Trip

My son and I plan a fishing trip each year around Father's Day. This year we chose Lake Oneida as it is close to the Syracuse airport. The home was very clean, well equipped and decorated. We enjoyed looking at the combination of cabin and antique decor throughout the home, even the garage! It was extremely well outfitted with kitchen supplies, bedding, fans and outdoor furniture. The home is in a quiet neighborhood, it was a really relaxing place to stay. I trailered my 20' bass boat, the lake is shallow, but I was able utilize the dock and park the trailer in the grass lot across the street from the garage. Great view of the lake and sunsets. Great find, I hope to return with my wife, she would love it.

Beautiful, quaint, and simply lovely

My two daughters (6 &9 years old) a friend and myself stayed for 3 days. I am a veteran vrbo'er and this cottage is probably one of the nicest places I have stayed. Every little touch and detail didn't go unnoticed. The care and love that was taken into the upkeep of this cottage was so remarkable. The linens were beautiful and comfy, the artwork and light fixtures were precious, it looks like a cottage out of Country Living magazine! The amenities were perfect, updated appliances, tv, (not that we watched it), and bathroom were beautiful. The porch and backyard were beautifully taken care of. My girls loved the shallow shore line and got right into the fall waters of the lake! The neighbors were friendly, and made us feel welcomed! My only complaint was that we had to leave! I am hoping to rent the cottage again this same weekend next year! Thank you for a most beautiful stay!

Summer 2020

We really enjoyed our stay, it was very relaxing and a nice change for this summer! Owner is so nice and easy to work with and wonderful neighbors too. We kayaked every day and took time to relax on the wonderful deck, around the fire pit and floating in the lake. Nice added touches around the home which was nice!
