We've been married for 12 years and love Salt Lake City. Both Utah natives, we enjoy the proximity to the mountains for hiking, biking, fishing, skiing etc.

Why they chose this property

We lived on the main floor unit of this home for 10 years. We absolutely loved being so close to downtown. As an architect with an interest in historic homes, I've loved working on all 3 units in the home. We focused on the interior improvements first, but will someday restore the original Victorian windows and porch that this place had before undergoing a series of unfortunate remodels by previous owners long ago. Eventually our family outgrew the space and we moved to Bountiful, where we have a garage and backyard, but we hope to someday return in a different phase of life.

What makes this property unique

There are many quaint residences in the Avenues, however the lot size here is somewhat unique, and allows for quite a bit of off street parking behind the home. We have also very recently added in unit laundry machines which are very convenient, especially for an upstairs unit. The best feature has and always will be the location. It's within easy walking distance (no hills) to downtown Salt Lake City (Temple Square are).
