Year Round rental opportunity - One of three rental homes on the property.

A new addition to our other two rentals. This one story, 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch-style vacation home has plenty of room for family/friends. All the latest conveniences and a short walk to Schroon. It's around the corner from the golf course, NYS snowmobile trails, 25 minutes from Gore Mountain, 45 minutes from Whiteface Mountain and a short walk to the lake. The kitchen is fully equipped and a washer and dryer are available. There are three queen size beds and two full baths. A queen size pull out couch in the living room completes sleeping accommodations for eight.

Wonderful location

Well stocked and furnished 3 bedroom ranch. Although the lake was very high this year, we were still able to use the dock and swimming areas. Pleasant short walk to the village for restaurants, groceries and ice cream!

Adirondack getaway

I have been to Schroon lake many times over the last 15 or so years and I’ve rented several houses and this by far has to best located nicest house that I have stayed in yet. I came in that weekend with my girlfriend for the weekend and left with my fiancé so I’ll never forget it, wonderful stay and the property owners were very responsive to whatever we needed, I’ll definitely be back.

The home was extremely clean and well stocked. It was a short walk to a viewing area of the lake. The adorable town and a grocery store was within walking distance also. We would definitely rent this home again.

This home was very spacious and open - even more so than we expected - and extremely clean and updated. The kitchen and living area were perfect for family gatherings! The distance from town was perfect - close enough to walk, but far enough out that we could avoid the bustling crowds on the Fourth. The owners were wonderful about responding to emails and answering questions, too. We loved everything about the stay!

Perfect!

Just had a great, two night stay in this perfect vacation house. The location is great, since it's a short (1/2 mile) walk to the village. The house had everything we needed, and having a grill was awesome, too. Even though we brought most supplies with us, not knowing, it was really nice to find that the house was adequately equipped with things like salt and pepper, garbage bags, dish soap, and cleaning supplies, on top of all of the kitchen supplies that are there. We would definitely stay here again!!

Although this wasn't a lake view property as advertised in the description, don't expect to view the lake from this house. However, if you take a short walk, you can walk along the beach of the lake, the house was beautifully "clean", well maintained, lots of amenities, having three bedroom and two fully baths were a bonus, nice modern kitchen -- again very clean with lots of kitchen amenities. Bathrooms very clean, spacious living area and plenty of parking. Nearby town of Schroon where we ate at Shirley's diner (delicious and friendly staff), we also ate at Sticks & Stones, right down the road a piece. Also very good, it's a modern rustic restaurant similar to an Applebee's but better. Would stay again for another visit.

Great house--convenient to town and the lake

We spent two nights here at the end of September. The house is very nice and my interactions with the hosts were very pleasant. Cathy responded quickly to my inquiries and was kind enough to accommodate a few special requests I had. The house is very comfortable and clean. We were 4 adults and 2 kids and there was plenty of room to hang out in the living room. I also liked the kitchen and would say it's even nicer than the pictures. It's only a short walk into town. It was a bit too cold to make use of the dock and lake access but we did walk down to the dock at night to check out the stars, which was really cool. I would definitely stay here again.

Ice Fishing on Schroon Lake

First, the owners of the property are outstanding and quick to answer any inquiries and the property was exactly as listed in the description. What a beautiful home with just a quick walk to Schroon Lake. The house was spotless with all the amenities anyone would need for a relaxing weekend with magnificent decor and comfortable furnishings. We feel fortunate to have found this house and will definitely be back. Everything about our stay was just perfect.
