4-bedroom ocean-view house is within easy reach of Acadia National Park, about a 20-minute drive and Bar Harbor (about 30 minutes).

1st Floor features Great Room with decorative fire place (NO fires permitted) and plenty of seating along with desk and chair of remote work. Games and books available too!

A second living room is down the hall in open floor plan with Kitchen and Dining area. We call this the 'view room' with a wall of windows overlooking The kitchen has stainless appliances, and everything you need to make a meal - dishes, glasses, good knives, serving dishes, pots, pans, lobster pot, etc! Dining table seats 8 plus Kitchen island seating.

Also on the 1st floor: 1 Queen Bedroom with view and across the hall from full bath tub/shower and laundry. 1 Twin Bedroom (2 twin beds) off the kitchen along with a fully renovated full bath with shower.

Upstairs is the Master Bedroom and Bath with tub/shower and double vanity. A pack 'n play is also available. Across the hall is the 4th Bedroom with 2 Queen sized-beds.

Base rate is for 8 people with a maximum of 10 total. Contact us if you have children under 3 putting the max over 10. One pet allowed, under 40 lbs. $200 pet fee. No exceptions.

Fabulous Getaway

We stayed here with our 2 grown kids and their spouse and friend. It was perfect for our needs. The setting is amazing....waking up to views of the water everyday was perfection! Loved watching the tides come in and out. It was a super easy drive to Ellsworth for groceries and a meal out. Spent almost every day going to Mt. Desert Island to visit Bar Harbor or Acadia. About a 35-40 minute drive, but so pretty we didn't mind. Our family found something for everyone on this trip....hiking, shopping, great meals out, putt putt, exploring, a Lobster and Seal Watching tour, and just being together. Cooked several meals at home and the kitchen was well equipped. Beds were so comfy and there was plenty of space to spread out. Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable, spacious, and reasonable rates. Host was so helpful with information. We even enjoyed a campfire one night. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home, excellent location!

Cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! Home was exactly as described. We really enjoyed the privacy of the property, and having our own little slice of heaven right on the bay. Host was communicative and very helpful in every way. Highly recommended!

Maine Family Fun

What a beautiful setting! Wonderful water views with the best of Maine on display. Close to Acadia and Bar Harbor and easy access to shopping. Highly recommended for a Maine family vacation.

Family Getaway

The house was perfect for our family trip! Being right on the water was such a treat when sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. The house was welcoming and the kitchen was so well stocked, the beds were comfortable and there was lots of space for all of us, (6 adults and a 3-year old). The location felt secluded, but was not too far from Acadia which was our ultimate destination. This was our first trip to Maine and we absolutely loved all of the beauty that is there. Thank you for sharing your home and making us feel comfortable.

Maine Family Vacation

This is an amazing property! It has beautiful water views, clean, well maintained, well supplied for a family of 8, comfortable, spacious, and located in the woods for complete privacy but yet in close proximity to Acadia National Park or a day trip to inner Maine. The fenced in yard is perfect for corralling a toddler safely outside. As a bonus a pair of bald eagles sat on a nearby rock to wish us safe travels home. We couldn’t have been more satisfied with our stay. Thank you!

Quiet and Beautiful Stay

We loved our stay. The house was clean and the location was beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed and the Great Room had some toys and puzzles to use while we enjoyed the view from all the windows. The view from the porch was perfect and we spent a lot of time on the beach with our 4 year old finding shells, sea glass, rocks and more. We saw heron, eagles, fish, crabs and even saw a seal out on the kayaks that we rented for the week. The location was convenient to downtown Ellsworth and also to Acadia and Bar Harbor. This is a great spot for relaxing and for adventure. We had a great week.

Annual family vacation

Overall, we all enjoy the home and the outdoor environment. The home was well appointed requiring no need to transport or purchase basic needs. Two rooms on the main floor, one the 4 children enjoyed and the other the 5 adults enjoyed giving freedom to all while indoors. Water, rocks and boulders gave unexpected entertainment.

Great Maine Vacation

The house was lovely and just as advertised. Beautiful property on the water - we loved watching the tides and walking the beach each day. House was well furnished and the kitchen was well stocked. The owner offered a credit due to one of the showers being broken that required a full renovation in the off-season. Excellent location close to groceries and supplies in Ellsworth and an easy drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. We would definitely stay again.

Seven adults had plenty of room and accommodations were good. Second story had no air conditioning. Hot most of the week, for two bedrooms. Property was very beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked. Doors did not shut well. Internal and external.

Blissfully peaceful and serene setting and property

Start to finish one of our best rental experiences; communication with owners was excellent and amenities/property exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was fully equipped with quality products (thank you), beds were comfy, and extras like board games and lobster pot were greatly appreciated. The very few neighbors we saw walking along the beach at low tide were friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful views.

It was a great house for all. Plenty of room. Fantastic sunsets. Walk down to the water and collect mussels. We all were pleasantly surprised the house was more than we expected. Daria was a pleasure to deal with.

Great Location and Accomodations

Property is amazing. Great access to the water and is nice and close to Ellsworth and Acadia. Everything was as described in the listing. We had one issue with one of the three showers being broken, but the owner communicated it and I'm sure it was only temporary. We had a lot of trouble finding places with enough showers to accommodate eight people in the area, so grab this one if it's open.

Fabulous property

Loved the location! Waterfront was a huge plus. My grandchildren loved the beach front and rocks. We loved the convenience to Acadia and to Ellsworth and the groceries. There is a shower that doesn’t work. Hoping it will be repaired soon. Overall a 10 plus for our family! .

Wonderful place for a family reunion!

Our family of eight plus an infant reunited for a week’s stay at this wonderful house. The views were fantastic even with all the fog. The house is well maintained, very clean and well equipped. We appreciated the pack and play for the baby. The house is very private but nicely located for those who need their “Dunkin” in the morning. It’s a short 25 minute drive to Mt. Desert Island and Acadia National Park but away from all the crowds. Highly recommend!

Wonderful communication and property management

Unfortunately we weren't able to stay at Daria's home due to the hurricane, which affected electricity at the home. Daria was so helpful and kind in keeping us informed on the status, and was gracious enough to grant us a refund since we weren't able to travel. We can't wait to stay in the home next year!

Beautiful sunsets

The location was fantastic. we enjoyed beautiful sunsets and kayaking right out the back of the house. was also pretty easy getting to the park and Bar Harbor although plan for a bit of traffic later in the day coming back. Overall the house met our needs for three generations of guests. plenty of space to relax. one bathroom shower was out of service but this seems to be a recent and temporary situation. some kitchen appliances needed cleaning but overall the house was clean and very well stocked. the owner is super responsive and receptive to feedback. grateful for the many beautiful memories made!

Beautiful Location

Our family of 6 (two grandparents, two parents and two teens) had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was perfect, the views were stunning and the property was as described and very quiet. Some of the rooms were smaller than they appeared in the pictures but that is common and wasn't an issue. We had plenty of space and overall I would say that the house was even better in person than it was in the pictures. The great room was a wonderful space for relaxing and with some extended family it was very nice to have the main living area as well for tv watching. The kitchen had everything we needed and everything was in very good shape. The house was overall very clean and comfortable. My only small complaint was that the floors could have used a good scrub. The bathroom floors were clean but the rest of the house produced dirty socks. We also were unable to get the jets working in the tub in the upstairs bathroom but we notified the host who said she would look into it. Minor inconvenience. My family could have happily stayed another week! I'd recommend this house to anyone with a larger group, The third bathroom off the kitchen is not pictured but was quite lovely.
