We like to remind our guests that you will be staying in an Amish built log cabin surrounded by the Kickapoo Valley Reserve State Park and farm land. As such, every fall the Asian and Box Elder Beetles make their way inside. They are a yearly nuisance but are harmless. Once the weather turns cold they disappear. Guest feedback is valuable, as we strive to provide each with an exceptional experience. We appreciate and value all guests who choose to stay at the Lisney Grand Log Cabin, which is why we have taken additional steps to follow VRBO health and safety regulations as well as adhere to the State of Wisconsin stringent annual inspections. And while it is an added burden and expense for us, we take pride in being incident-free in over 40 years in business. So yes, it is true we do not provide any bed linens, pillows or personal items, as we do so for the safety of all our guests. This policy is clearly spelled out on VRBO listing agreement. However we do offer a well-furnished kitchen with all cooking utensils, glassware, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, games, etc., as well as a room air purifier and hand sanitizing solution throughout. Outside we offer an assortment of deck chairs, a fire pit, picnic table and Weber grill. The cabin price is listed on VRBO for 2 guests, and shows a small additional charge for each added guest above that. This is the industry standard and we have found it most fair to everyone. We are sorry that your plans changed. VRBO cancellation policy clearly states no refund 7 days before the start of your stay. Not only did you change your reservation the morning of your arrival, but also again during your stay. And while we were under no obligation to honor such a request, we did refund these changes to you as a goodwill gesture. We understand you have many choices in which to spend your vacation time. We strive to make each guest stay as unique and exceptional as possible. We believe it speaks volumes that the majority of our business is in returning guests.
