It was affordable and near enough to the “T” so getting around in Boston was easy. No complaints. It was a great spot to rest your head after a night out in the city.

Was very pleased with this place. Was in a quite ish place. Host is great but I wish I would have know we couldn’t use the oven. That’s the main reason I booked this place instead of another one. And I also with there wasn’t a gas detector as it kept going off just spraying my perfume. Other then that was a great stay and I would stay here again.

We had a bad experience with this rental. There was a clear mold/mildew smell throughout the unit, with clearly visible mold in the condensate lines attached to the portable HVAC units. And the shower curtain was discolored and mildewy. But most importantly, the only egress window in the unit was completely broken, nonfunctional, and wouldn’t open - an extreme safety issue. My wife and I vacated the property after the first night after discovering the broken window. When I messaged with the host explaining the issues and requesting a refund, he was quite rude and accused me of “trashing the place”. His evidence was a bag of sugar and brownie mix neatly placed in the cupboard - which wasn’t even ours. There were other inconveniences, but not even worth risking considering the health and safety concerns. Rent at your own risk.

Terrible experience

Upon arrival the place smelled terribly of mildew, my wife started coughing immediately and we had to leave the place right away. The place, listed as a "cozy apartment" is actually a basement in a run down area. It only has one window which was sealed shut so we couldn't air the place at all. I contacted the host immediately, asking for a refund. He was also contacted several times by Vrbo customer support and he asked for me not to leave a bad review in exchange for refunding. He stringed me along for 7 weeks, promising to refund me and he never did. I don't wish upon anybody such a horrific ordeal. In retrospect, the listing on Vrbo website is very misleading as the place is really a dump.
