The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway in downtown Charleston while visiting our son at the Citadel. Nicely updated older home with all the amenities needed. The host even let us check out an hour later when asked if that could be an option. We will definitely stay here again!

This place was in the best location. We walked just about everywhere and didn’t have to drive our car and try to park it. I would definitely recommend this place for a couple to have a getaway!!!

Great location with several walkable restaurants. Property was comfortable and clean. Renovated property with a large shower and full kitchen. We walked to king street and almost everywhere else we went. I would stay here again. Second floor unit with several steps so not ideal for anyone who would need assistance.

We loved our stay. Kudos to our hosts for fixing an air conditioning problem in record time! We literally texted, went nextdoor to the cute diner ( great food, by the way) and met the repair guy on our way back upstairs. Voila!Neighborhood was walkable to downtown and filled with historic charm. We 2 gals felt totally safe everywhere we walked.

I was very comfortable staying at this unit and working remotely during my stay. It was convenient having the cantina right next door and the noise from it never bothered me. It’s a great location and I felt very safe.

The place was exactly as pictured. It was all you need and was clean and equipped with all the essentials. What they have done with the space was perfect. Loved the little refrigerator an ice cube trays. The bed and pillows were so comfy, I would love to know where they got those pillows and what kind they were. The restaurant Fuel which is beside the house was not loud, it just gave a beach vibe and the food was pretty good. We ate there twice. The location was perfect you could walk to King Street in about 15 minutes we had breakfast at the Coop which was really good. It was like living in Barbie and Ken time, all pink. It was adorable. We were there when it was really hot 102 heat index. Sitting outside was warm but most places had fans that provided a nice relief. Went to Folly Beach which was wonderful. So glad we picked this place.

Unit clean and organized and stocked, very well done. regular resto noise next door was not a problem (people chatting/music) which was mentioned in ad until 11. However, power washing one night between 4-5 am kept us awake as well as the high pitched beeping all night long, assume from resto security system? Hard to sleep thru that. Listing didn't mention (until you get the entry code shortly b4 your stay) that one of the units has 25 outdoor wood stairs to climb, difficult for seniors with luggage. If you can handle the stairs and are not a light sleeper it is a great little unit.

Unit was clean and well appointed. Kitchen is fully equipped (utensils, cookware, toaster, coffee pot {with two bags of ground coffee}, microwave, dishwasher, gas stove, refrigerator. Washer/dryer was nice since we worked out a few times. King sized bed was very comfortable. Nice shower with provided products. It was only 80 degrees with low humidity during our stay and air conditioning worked fine. Left setting at 74 in auto, no issues. Digital thermostat control is user friendly. Ceiling fans in living room and bedroom. Parking spot behind unit was great as on street parking is tight. Note: When pulling into driveway be aware of gas line on RH side of driveway. Location was in walking distance of everything: Coffee shops, restaurants, King Street, F45 gym and a spinning studio were 15 minute walk.Area was quiet, the Fuel Cantina located next door is not an issue as unfortunately it has closed. (Used to be one of our favorites during past visits).YourPad had good email communication with detailed instructions sent a few days before our arrival.We our frequent visitors (and soon to be permanent residents) to Charleston and we would definitely stay here again.
