Our cozy summer cottage on Echo Lake- one of the cleanest lakes in Maine- is located in an idyllic area for swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, boating, and listening to the loons. Early birds enjoy beautiful sunrise views & night owls soak in the peaceful star-filled skies. Even on rainy days, we've got board games, puzzles, and a small TV to relax and make memories with loved ones. Walking distance from Camp Vega, Camp Winnebago, & Camp Laurel.. short drive to Belgrade or Augusta!
THE PROPERTY:
This is a seasonal cabin abutted by many acres of woods located in rural Maine. It is quirky, “campy” (for those from around here!), and minimalistic... Glamping upgraded with proper plumbing and standard kitchen amenities. It’s surrounded by beautiful wildlife and amazing lake views— morning, evening, and night. We spend more time outside than inside. The environment is so peaceful and a great escape from the bustle of everyday life. We truly love sharing this cherished family space with our guests looking for this authentic Maine camp experience! We provide many pictures of our property to be transparent about our offerings; please let us know if you have any questions at all!
Note: All of the rooms except the larger bedroom are located on the main floor. Please see pictures and captions for more details!
DRINKING WATER:
The water in the camp is lake-drawn, therefore you will need to bring your own drinking water. The water is suitable for showers and washing dishes.
BASICS:
We will supply basics (toilet paper, hand/ dish soap, trash bags) to kick off your stay, however we recommend bringing extra based on your group consumption needs and length of stay.
LINENS:
- We provide comforters, pillows, and several dish/ hand towels.
- Guests must bring own sheets and towels.
- We do offer a linen package-- which includes sheets and bath towels for registered guests-- for $150. Please make this request no later than 1 week prior to your stay.
- Please be aware we do not have a washer/ dryer on-site.
WI-FI:
The wi-fi is not adequate for streaming. Instead, we recommend watching one of our “old-school” VHS movies, you can bring your favorite DVDs, or feel free to return to the beautiful outdoors to enjoy the stars/ loons. :)
We will do everything we can to make sure you enjoy your stay!
