Welcome to Luna y Sol, a spacious 3-bedroom, 3-bath condo designed for comfort and relaxation. Enjoy stunning views of the Sea of Cortez from the main living area while unwinding in this well-appointed coastal retreat.
This unique condo features a private detached suite, complete with a queen bed, private bath, and its own heating and cooling system—perfect for added privacy. The second bedroom also offers a queen bed and an en-suite bath, while the third bedroom includes two twin beds, making it ideal for families or groups. The living room features a sofa bed for additional sleeping space.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, including a Keurig coffee maker (just bring your favorite K-cups!), blender, microwave, and more. The open-concept living and dining areas are tastefully furnished and showcase beautiful ocean views.
Additional amenities include ceiling fans in all rooms, central air and heat, Wi-Fi, a fireplace (bring your own wood or fire logs), charcoal barbecue (bring your own charcoal), a front patio for relaxing outdoors, and a landline available for guest use.

Loved staying here! The area was awesome & convenient right on the beach with mannys next door. Loved having a garage for my car. House was very clean. There were some sand toys in the closet & some chairs out on the patio. Would definitely stay here again!

Luna & Sol puerto peñasco

Good view & location. But the following point can improve: 1. need more items on Kitchen. 2. Water issue called on Saturday afternoon, but nobody came to fix, finally the pump repaired by itself 3 hours later. 3. Too many cockroach outside, one night when we sleep on the bed, my wife found one on her arm.

On the website it showed that there’s three beach chairs. There was only one no hot water and a second bathroom trashcan in the kitchen.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The heating of the unit was unpredictable at best and even though the daytime temps were pleasant and no heat was needed in the early hours we would have liked the furnace to work. We made due and then on the last morning the heater kicked on and we couldn’t get it to turn off (it eventually did turn off on its own). The water pressure was found to be greatly lacking throughout our stay in all bathrooms (we all took one splash off in the shower and called that good for the week). The general cleanliness/upkeep of the unit did not match the images in the listing and seemed to have deteriorated since we were last at this unit. While laying in the single beds in the double bed room our daughter was wondering what the black things on the ceiling were and to be honest I’m not sure, could be mold, but again unsure. We found a rusty fish hook in one closet and some random tackle/lures in the main living area, a dirty sock in a drawer of the dresser, no coat hangers in any of the rooms, the front bathroom door knob continuously locked our daughters in the bathroom (luckily we had a multi tool with screwdriver to open the lock) dirty dishes in the kitchen cabinets and meager supply of kitchenware. If we had 8 people with us (as the listing states as occupancy) we would likely have been short. We found no paper towels, but are pretty sure from previous stays those were usually provided. As far as cooking went all the knives were dull, we could find no mixing/salad bowl, the skillet/frying pan had the non-stick coating peeling off, and the general impression was not of a stocked kitchen but an accumulation of items that had been left or discarded by previous guests. Also, we could be confusing property’s but we had thought that there was usually a few five gallon water jugs and dispenser provided. The refrigerator froze most of our produce as well as some other items too, ruining the food we brought with us. The screen door fell off more than it

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we showed up and opened the door to the property is was nice and cool temperature wise. Found one broke chair, manager sent someone to get it. My son got shocked by the garage light switch. Manager sent someone to come fix it. For some reason the water pump stayed on never would shut off. Maintenance guy came and couldn’t get it to turn off. So we let it run. Last night of our trip early Monday morning around 4am we lost power to the unit. Call the emergency number for assistance and she was awesome. Maintenance guy show up very quick. But could not fix the problem. Had to put in an electric ticket. Because there was no power for water pump or ac why stay til noon for check out. 0600 is was light enough to see to pack up our personal belongings and depart the unit. Turned in the keys at the drop box. And left for Elpaso Tx. We know the company can’t control the electricity in the area. Over all it was a good trip.

Reviewer Comments: This was an absolute nightmare it was freshly painted one hour before we got there we were all dizzy and with asthma could not breathe all five of us slept on the living room floor with bugs for two nights straight called management over and over and over again talk to Tony he promises different places but they were only two bedrooms two bath we had five adults we paid for three bedroom three bath so we were not going to crowd into a smaller place I talked to him for 5 hours straight on Friday as soon as we checked in at 4 p.m. they could do nothing he just apologized over and over that does not do it we have been staying with Oceania on and off for 20 years this place should have been condemned there were bugs we cleaned the floors ourselves washed our own sheets and towels because the laundry room was locked could not get in it was an absolute nightmare the grill outside is all rusted out I am going to be telling this everywhere we should be comped for two nights of misery Tony at the front desk told us that he would now I cannot reach him now that I'm home in the states if you could help I would really appreciate it it was a nightmare this will be left not unsaid..If I could give the zero Stars I would.. also I tried calling Oceano and corporate it only went to Tony at the front desk send nothing absolutely nothing has been resolved and I can't talk to anyone else call me if you need my name is Mark Beale

Slider in master rattles if it is windy. When we checked out, we spoke with the man at the counter and he was going to call me with info about the prices if we wanted to rent the condo for Thanksgiving 2022, but he never called. He said from what he could tell on his computer, the price would likely be less per night than we paid for this trip.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was wonderful! Directly in front of a great spot for swimming. We were all comfortable and had a fantastic time. We had previously stayed a few doors down and found this one lacking in a few areas. We were there with our family and there were only 2 chairs for out side and the sandy area right off the patio was filled with cigarette butt’s. The silverware supply is pretty slim, no dish soap etc and could use some updating. Despite these minor things I would definitely recommend staying there. We really enjoyed it. Just bring extra outdoor chairs if there are more than 2 people.

However the gas oven needs to be working for our next stay. We took note of this last visit and it still hadn’t been repaired or replaced. On our March visit we will need that to be taken care of. Also it would be nice to have patio chairs. There is only one at this point. We will be back in March!!

Thanksgiving in Rocky Point

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was a little older, but I think it probably matched well with the price. During the storm we had, it became obvious that it needs some work sealing the front door and sliding glass doors (and several windows). The wind and rain came right through. The only other issue we had was its proximity to bar(s)-- JJ's is probably 1 -- with VERY loud music that shuts off at 3am on the weekends. Somewhere when making the reservation or online when describing the property I think it should be brought up in some fashion.Lastly the guy who check me in and was there when I dropped off the key, was very friendly, spoke great English and was very helpful.

Not One of the Better Units

Reviewer Comments: Over the years we have rented several of the units along Mirador. This is not one that we would recommend. We had a long list of things that needed improvement but will shorten. This unit needs TLC!! The water supply hose and the shower head in the main bathroom both sprung leaks the second day of our stay. (A trip to the hardware store took care of the issue. Not something we wanted to wait on.). There was a heavy rainstorm mid-week. The rainwater filled the mini patio by the master bedroom and came in under the sliding glass doors. The runoff from the roof left bright red sludge on the front patio (from the tiled roof). The mattresses were hard. Minor annoyances - there are no coffee mugs or serving utensils in the kitchen, no larger pots and pans. We will rent in this area again but will avoid this unit!!

The electricity was unreliable.Frig went off overnight, the garage opener would work for a few hours, so we couldn't get the car in and then couldn't get it out. One electrical plug in the small bedroom was burned out and looked dangerous. Baseboards were broken and dirty. The whole place needed paint and more care. Not worth the money.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Luna y Sol has been on among the condos we reserve for years for family trips. I know it to be the less upkept condo we have stayed in from previous visits however this visit was even more disappointing. Some caulking and paint along with a deep scrub and miscellaneous small maintenance would make all the world of difference in this condo. The patio door track is absolutely a disaster and almost impossible for anyone to open. The ants are out of control in kitchen. Not cool..... Theres no reason this condo doesnt show better pride of ownership :( I would recommend it only because of location if youre a 100% Mirador devotee like us.
