About this property

Private Heated Pool Home. Walk to Shamrock Park and close to Beaches

Welcome to Sea Turtle Sunshine, your own private oasis. This home is ideally located in the South Venice neighborhood just a 3 minute walk to Shamrock Park and the Inland Waterway and a short drive to several beaches.

If you are looking for a great pool this is the place. We've got the largest pool in the neighborhood and we keep it heated to 88 degrees year round. A lot of Florida Pools are "dipper" pools. This one is made for swimming. This pool is a saltwater 15x30ft pool with a swim up bench. This pool is ideal for swimming, playing, and relaxing. Saltwater pools are gentler on the skin and your clothing.

The lanai covered pool deck has plenty of room for outdoor dining, relaxing and laying out in the sun. The outdoor dining table has a large sun shade for the hot days.

The oversized backyard is completely fenced with new 8ft privacy fencing for your own personal space and for those who are looking for a safe place for their pets.

The home is a short drive to several different beautiful beaches. For the active vacationers you can bike through the park and down the waterway to the beaches with the bikes we provide.

There are 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen with granite counter tops and a breakfast bar and stainless steal appliances. The 3rd bedroom has a trundle bed and doubles as an office space or reading area for couples or small groups that do not need a 3rd bedroom.

The two main bedrooms have DISH TV with new flat screen TVs as well as another flat screen TV in the living room. Free Wifi in the home. You are also provided with a grill and propane in the backyard lanai.

Many people will find it hard to leave your personal private pool that faces perfectly south for the sun. But be sure to make it to the beaches and Shamrock Park that has walking trails, a nature center, tennis courts, a playground, and basketball courts. There are also golf courses in town.

This home and location are perfect for both active vacationers, families, and those just looking to relax. We supply beach chairs, towels, toys, shark teeth strainers, tennis rackets, bicycles, and more!

We had a great stay at Ryan & Lee's place. My girlfriend, dog, and I came up from Fort Myers and mother/step dad came down from Maryland.We visited Manasota Key Beach, Venice Beach, Nokomis Beach, and Siesta Key while we were there and also perused Historic Downtown Venice.The property was neat and clean and the owner was very responsive to messages. The neighborhood was pretty quiet and most of your needs (grocery store, restaurants, etc) were all within a 10 minute drive.We would certainly stay again!

Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation spot. The location was perfect - close to many great beaches. The pool was a fabulous refuge after a day in the sun. Hurricane Helene visit

The owners were very easy to get ahold of, and were very accommodating considering a hurricane was supposed to hit when we got there. The home is beautiful, the pool is perfect for a dip and my dog loved it as well. Fenced in backyard was nice to let the dog out. We didn’t need to go anywhere, the house had everything we needed. We are already looking at the calendar to come back!

Much needed time off. The house was very comfortable. We enjoy the pool so much. The house is pet friendly. So our four legged kids had so much fun in the private/fence backyard. There is a park that you can walk too. Beach 12 minutes away and close to shopping stores. Ryan the host is very nice.

Perfect vacation rental

This was one of the best vation rentals we have stayed at. The owners have thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. The pool was perfect temperature , plenty of towels and beach supplies. There were even toys for the kids to play with. It was so nice to find all the basic house essentials provided as well, we have never experienced this at other rentals. The house was in a nice queit neighborhood close to many beaches and stores. Everything was very clean and as described. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Everything but the kitchen sink

This property has everything you need for a beach vacation! We love the Venice area for sharksteeth hunting and this property had all the tools you need! On top of that it also had all your beach going dreams with chairs, umbrellas, floats, and even floating water games to play in the pool. Speaking of pool, this pool is the perfect size and the basketball goal is perfect for added fun!

We have two boys Jon and Beau. We love to be active and go kayaking, canoeing, and biking, but we also love to kick back and relax.

Why they chose this property

My grandparents had a seasonal home in Venice so I have been visiting since I was a child. Now my parents own a home there that they use as a vacation home as well and have been very successfully renting for 6 years now. Lee and I chose this home because we love the area and we know what type of people will love it too. It's important to find the right vacation match for you and we feel comfortable recommending this home to almost any vacationer. Ask us questions!!! We want it to be an unforgettable vacation home experience for you! You'll never think of condos or hotels again!!

What makes this property unique

It has the things we love and more.... including being in walking distance to Shamrock Park and the Inland Waterway, which are two beautiful walking biking, playing areas that are right at your fingertips. That was a big sell for us. Also, we love that you can reach 4 different beaches in 10 minutes or less. We love to go to the Venice Pier and walk out over the ocean and then grab a drink at Sharky's before we jump in for a swim. This home also has the largest pool in the neighborhood and you can truly swim in it unlike some of the smaller 'dipper pools' in Florida. The biking is beautiful along the waterway. We have not yet done the Legacy trail, but I have heard it is nice as well. There are also golf courses in town. Lastly the town of Venice....it's a true gem. There are not many classy small towns on the coast of Florida anymore. You'll love it if you ARE NOT looking to be smothered by 10 story condos while on your vacation. And lastly, the sunsets. Enjoy the sunsets. Our favorite routine is a walk or bike in the morning in the park, beach around noon, back to our personal private pool for the afternoon and early dinner cooking on the grill, and then back to the beach for sunset. You can kick back and relax or get out and have an adventure, whatever works for your vacation. Enjoy!
