About this property

2018 Pool Home in quiet south Venice neighborhood.

Our 3 bedroom home is located in Venice Florida. . We provide 2 kayaks and 4 bicycles for your use. There is a nearby cycling path which stretches through Venice and up to Sarasota. This home is suitable for couples or families looking for a quiet vacation . Nearby beaches are perfect for shell collecting and searching for sharks teeth.
Our home is set up with master bedroom and bath on one side and 2 bedrooms and main bath on the other. Full laundry in a separate mudroom and an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. Kitchen is well equipped, we provide linen and towels for house and beach use. Large sliding glass doors open the living area to the enclosed Lanai and the master bedroom. Yard is fully fenced for privacy (new rear hedge in 2023 isn't mature, rear yard is partial open to neighbor) and the pool is heated. Manasota beach is 10 min south and Caspersen beach 15 min. north. Both offer parking and restroom facilities. There is a beach at the end of South Venice blvd but due to recent policy changes it can only be accessed by kayak/boat across the inter coastal waterway.
Nearby restaurants and shopping options are almost endless up and down the sunshine coast.

This was an our 2nd time staying here and again it was fantastic. Love the location, the pool and how cozy the home is. Not to mention they have everything you need to cook, or order in.Host Derek is amazing and easy to get a hold of and always helpful with all things needed! Will stay here again

This was a great stay. Away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to everything. Property was gorgeous, had everything you need. Pool was perfect. Would definitely stay here again!

AMAZING PLACE!!!!

This was our second time renting this beautiful clean house! It has so many great amenities. We really enjoyed our two week vacation. Great communication with the owner, Derek got back to us very quickly when we had questions.The house is well stock with anything you might need, as well as beach stuff. Pristine Property in Venice

This house was absolutely perfect! The owner had every detail covered from beach towels, chairs and umbrellas to shampoo and sunscreen. The house was immaculate and the pool was beautiful. Host was very responsive. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, well-stocked home close to the beach

We stayed here for several weeks to quarantine before safely visiting family during the pandemic. It was the perfect place to be for our purposes. Well-stocked with everything from dishwasher soap to paper towels and spices, we felt very much at home. The pool was spotless, the house itself was also quite clean and new. The host was accommodating and easy to communicate with. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

COUSIN TIME

This property fit our needs perfectly. My Lady cousins and I enjoyed this home in a quiet neighborhood in Venice, Florida. The home was immaculate with new furnishings. The passes to the private beach was a nice feature. Families would enjoy the bicycles, kayaks, and games provided. Book early this home is a gem.

Venice pool house

We had a nice time in Venice FL. The home was very clean and spacious. It had everything you needed for an enjoyable stay and was close to many different beaches. Kitchen was well equipped, plenty of towels, beach equipment/chairs/coolers were provided, as well as games, bikes, books, shark tooth hunting equipment that my husband enjoyed, pool and lots more. The location was central for our day trips/activities in Ft Meyers, downtown Venice, Sarasota, Siesta Key and North Port. Quiet neighborhood. Owners were very responsive to any questions and were nice to rent from.

Beautiful property

This house was amazing. 5/5. It had everything we needed other than a high chair. They had little toys, pool toys, beach equipment, bathroom products, kitchen products. Just literally everything you needed. Everything was clean and newer. Communication was great with the host. Loved having the baby gate around the pool for our littles. Can’t wait for our next stay here. This house made it feel like it was our home.

Best rental we’ve ever stayed in!

What a fantastic house this was! The owners are very kind and thoughtful with their little touches around the house. For example, there was an extension cord on a small hook next to the bed in the master room for anyone wanting to charge their phones etc. They had everything we could’ve possibly needed for the week (beach toys for the kids, bikes, coolers, chairs etc.) BUT was most noticeable and appreciated was the level of cleanliness. As soon as we walked in it smelled freshly cleaned and you could see everything sparkle. It was also very thoughtful of the owners to provide toilet paper, paper towels, detergent etc. We are already planning our next trip back to Venice and hope to stay at this property very soon. THANK YOU!

Amazing Vacation

The house was wonderful! We loved the master bedroom mattress. It was so comfortable. The house had lots of beach stuff to use, lots of beach towels and towels to shower with. Our daughter loved having the pool to relax in. The house was close to many of our favorite shark teeth hunting beaches. We had a very relaxing vacation! We will definitely rent this amazing house again!

Absolutely Amazing

Everything was perfect! The house was absolutely gorgeous, the pool temperature was perfect, the house was well stocked with towels, cleaning supplies, and everything you could need in the kitchen (minus food 😀)! There was lots of stuff beach stuff for us to use and bikes for all of us to ride. The host were absolutely wonderful! The beaches were all clean and beautiful, plus we found LOTS of shells and shark teeth! The location was perfect just short driving distance to everything, restaurants, Walmart, the beaches. I also recommend checking out Keys Huka dive in Nokomis and John's Pass in Madeira Beach there is so much too do there and is only about 45 minutes away. Thank you for helping to make our first family vacation perfect! ❤️

Wonderful

Excellent winter getaway with everything you need. Gobs of beach goods: Sifters (for shark teeth hunting), beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, small cart. Tons of towels: Will you need them for the pool? The beach? The tub? They have it covered. The back patio is where you might be if not at the beach: 85F pool, dining table, lounging area (with ceiling fan to conquer the no-see-ums), and propane grill. Internet connectivity was suitable for work and play. Roku and Chromecast devices were available. Unrelated: Grab the groceries from Detwiler's but if you need something quick, hit up Mad Dogs.

Gorgeous beach house

This house was so beautifully decorated. It was an extremely comfortable house. The pool area was very well furnished to be able to spend the day/night outside. Super close to the beach and the neighborhood was super peaceful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Great great place and service.

Beautiful Home, well equipped

This home was beautiful just like the pictures show. We had access to the garage door opener thing that goes into the vehicle which was so handy and the ferry pass to use to get to the semi-private beach. Super cozy and comfortable. Felt like it could have been our own home. The only problem we had with the home was the dryer took a long time to dry. We had to run it multiple times to get things dry. That made it hard with how many towels we were using between the beaches, pool, and showering.

A Gem in South Venice

We have stayed in many homes in the area over the past 10 yrs and this one has been the best. First off, let me tell you that the master bedroom mattress provided the best nights sleep ever, we are buying one for our home!! The house is extremely clean and organized. This rental has everything you need to spend the day at the beach and provides everything you need to cook meals. Thank you Doug and Patti for sharing your beautiful home with us in paradise. Fabulous Property

We stayed at this property while we were cleaning out an estate in Englewood and I can't tell you how nice it was to come back to this inviting home. We had all the comforts of home in a beautifully decorated home. Our girls loved the pool. We saw dolphins when we went to Pops for lunch one day. I highly recommend this property. Communication with the property owner was excellent. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us!

We enjoyed this home. The neighborhood is in transition from original homes to more updated / new homes. We appreciated communicating with the property owner directly vs. thru VRBO. Owners were very accommodating and quick to reply. Great having access to ferry boat to private beach where shark toorh hunting was fun.

Great property. Great location. Had everything we wanted and more. Pool, ferry pass, modern amenities, beach chairs, beach towels, kayaks, life jackets, bikes, etc. We really enjoyed biking and walking over to South Venice Lemon Bay preserve.

We have vacationed on Florida's gulf coast for years and decided as we approach our retirement to purchase a home there. South Venice is a quiet community with fairly large lots, access to the gulf and few crowds on the beach.

What makes this property unique


Our house is almost new and has a layout which is perfect for enjoying a florida vacation with family or friends. The large living room doors open fully to welcome in the outdoors. We are close to activities up and down the sunshine coast.
