Walk to the sound & public boat ramps or bike it to the beach. Bikes provided!
Located just mins. from the best shopping & dining that the OBX has to offer.

Linens/towels provided.
No pets. Should you bring pets there will be a $400 infraction fee & your stay will result in cancellation without refund.

OBX home base

As advertised. Great host. Good location. We took day trips south to Cape Hatteras and north to Duck and Corolla. We visited beaches, up and down OBX. Locally we flew kites at Jockey's Ridge and visited the Wright Brother's museum. It was a great home base.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and tidy. Our son learned to ride a bike in the quiet neighborhood. The game room came in handy due to the rainy days. And roomy living room was a popular hangout. We loved the area and cant wait to come back.

Great place to stay!!

Everything about our stay was awesome with the exception of the weather. We had a great time despite the cold temps! The cottage was stocked with all the necessities and the kids enjoyed the air hockey downstairs! Very nice place that definitely felt welcoming. It is in the center of all the fun with putt putt and shopping very close by!! Highly recommend this sweet, homey cottage!! The Powers Family

Perfect stay

We loved the house! Pretty and clean, the couch in living room is large and comfortable. Having an air hokey, pool table and boards for beach was apreciated by us. Nice interior design. I could tell that the host payed attention to little detailes while decorating the house. If we will come back to the area, we will stay in this house again with the great pleasure!

Beach getaway.

Really enjoyed Kill Devil Hills and OBX. The house was very nice. Great neighborhood. I walked to the 3rd street beach on the ocean in 13 minutes. The walkway on the sound was beautiful and well used by us. No kids were with us but its perfect for a family. Fast responses from the owner who clued us in to the Custom Street Rod show that happened while we were there. Thank you for the hospitality!

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is quiet & in a prime location. You’ll be close enough to the beach, best shopping & restaurants, but the cottage is tucked away on a side street so you can avoid the hustle & bustle of traffic. It’s a wonderful walking & biking neighborhood with a built in multi-use path & a public boat access.

What makes this property unique

It’s charming! It’s a beach box with upgrades to make it comfortable. Your kiddos will love the downstairs game room. We offer 5 bikes and live in a wonderful biking neighborhood. There is a boat ramp a block away so bring the boat if you’re a boat family. Fish from one of 3 neighborhood gazebos. Our neighborhood offers a variety of places to capture great pics.
