There are a few cosmetic issues with this cabin, but overall it was a nice place, and convenient to the west entrance of Yellowstone. The owner quickly responded to a couple of questions/small issues. The price is reasonable as well. We would consider staying here again if we are in the area
Great location near Henry's Lake with beautiful view of the Lake and surrounding mountains. Exterior of house suggests some repair and renovation needs but interior was mostly remodeled and in very good condition. My group would be comfortable staying at this house again. Host was easy to reach and helpful.

The description does not match the property. Checking in was easy. When we showed up, we walked into the basement rooms SMALL WORMS all over the floor. We had to sweep them up. The kids were scared because these things were litterally coming out from under the baseboards. Messaged host and she said she would have the cleaning lady come out.... they never did but what would that have helped with? The light in the dining room di'nt work. She said the maintanence guy would come out, never did.

Adequate But Over Priced
When we booked this property we were charged $8,057 for nine nights. For that price I expected it to not only be clean but also in good repair. I left a list of things needing repair. This included a kitchen sink which didn't hold water well, inoperable blinds, a loose banister on the outdoor stairway, individual radiators blasting heat in 80+ degree weather and an abandoned hot tub which was falling apart. They fixed the one problems that we couldn't overlook while we were there so I assume they have since addressed the above mentioned problems. There are a few things, however, that should be highlighted. Before booking I asked whether all of the bedrooms were private and whether there was an area of grass for playing lawn games. Although each bedroom had a door, it was necessary to walk though the bedroom with three beds in order to get to the 4th bedroom. We were also told that there was a grass area appropriate for lawn games. The grassy area on the described side of the house was not only too small but also covered with vegetation which was way too long.
