Modern Ranch Retreat Near Lake Tahoe

Welcome to The Y'all House, a modern private home on a spacious 20 acre ranch in the Carson Valley. Enjoy a peaceful country stay and amazing 360 degree mountain views while having immediate access to city amenities. As the hosts, we live on the property and renovated The Y'all House in 2023 to feature designer amenities, furnishings and art. In addition, the home has dedicated high-speed internet and three dedicated desks equipped with power, task lamps and Herman Miller ergonomic chairs.

The Carson Valley is a hidden gem set against the Eastern Sierras with ample choices of outdoor adventures that include skiing, mountain biking, hiking, hot air ballooning, gliding and trail riding.

One of the hallmarks of this location is its easy access to Lake Tahoe without having to stay amidst the hustle and bustle of the Tahoe scene. Spend the day skiing or canoeing at the Lake and come home to the quiet of the Valley.

For winter and summer outdoor adventuring, you can be at Heavenly Valley Ski Resort in 30 minutes, or Kirkwood Ski Resort in 45. Hundreds of miles of open trails on public land are minutes away as well.

With immediate access to Highway 395, it's a 10 minute drive or less to essential shopping including Trader Joe's, Target, Starbucks, Costco and Walmart.

The quaint Minden/Gardnerville is 10 minutes to the south. And Reno is about 30 minutes away, with Reno-Tahoe International Airport only a 40 minute drive door-to-door.

Your stay at The Y'all House is a fully private 2 bedroom/2 bath guest house with full kitchen, laundry and bonus room. The home is 1,360 square feet of newly renovated space with designer finishes, fixtures and lots of storage throughout. If you appreciate design you will enjoy the furnishings from brands like Knoll, Room & Board, Crate & Barrel and Herman Miller.

Bedroom 1: King size bed, work desk and ergonomic task chair, walk-in closet, TV with Apple TV, en suite bath with double vanity, shower and freestanding soak tub.

Bedroom 2: Queen size bed, sit/stand desk and ergonomic task chair, closet, en suite bath with single vanity and oversized shower.

Living Room: Comfortable sofa and leather chairs, large ottoman, 65" LED TV with Apple TV.

Kitchen: French door refrigerator/freezer, full size dishwasher, induction stove top and full size oven, built-in microwave, counter seating for 4.

Laundry Room: Side-by-side washer and dryer, bench and coat hooks.

Bonus Room: An additional large living room with game/dining table for 6, two large sofas that can serve as beds for the kiddos, LED TV with Apple TV, sit/stand desk and ergonomic task chair, cabinet with board games and kids books, glass wall with view to the Sierras.

You have the entire home to yourself, along with private outdoor space dedicated to the guest house. In addition, you are welcome to walk and explore the 20 acres of high desert property. Your hosts live onsite in the adjacent main house.

We welcome behaved, house-trained dogs that do not chew household items or furniture (maximum two dogs per stay). No cats, exotic animals or animals other than dogs allowed.

Maximum adults is four. Contact us if you have little ones in tow.
