SHORT 5 MINUTE WALK TO THE BEACH. This is a duplex. Each side has a private entrance and screen porch with privacy patio curtains. It is completely private from side A. Newly added, hanging full size bed on the sleeping screen porch. Enjoy a perfect beach getaway in this wonderfully restored and renovated Jane Coslick design cottage. Great location in the historical north end near the lighthouse and next to million dollar houses on Officer’s Row. You will be transported back in time to a Carefree feeling with the vintage furnishings and happy colors. Everything is top quality and comfortably thought out. The master bedroom has a queen bed and second bedroom has two twin beds. Main bathroom has a clawfoot tub with overhead shower. There is a half bath off the kitchen. A large, open kitchen and living/dining area are great for the families time together, making great memories. The large side screen porch is a wonderful respite for an early coffee, perfect lunch, and dinner spot on the picnic table with the barbecue right outside and a great place to nap and read, you will never want to leave! The outdoor shower with hot and cold water opens right onto the main bath perfect for a shower anytime and wonderful to wash off the sand from a day at the beach Walk, run or bike around the paved path in the park behind the cottage. The kids will love the playground at the far end. Two flatscreen smart TVs with Wifi connected for Netflix, Amazon, etc. Washer and dryer are provided so you can pack with no worries. Strict no pet rule.

Perfect little cottage! Close to easy beach access, golf cart rentals, North Beach Bar & Grill, ice cream shop. The extra touches were fantastic - efficient, quiet tower fans for each bedroom, multiple charger ports for electronics (and for the golf cart), tons of pantry items including ziplocks, chip clips, olive oil, seasonings, coffee pods & coffee, beach gear. This little place packed it all in! Would love to come back.

Treat at the Beach!

I loved this property so much — truly, within five minutes of us arriving for a mother/daughter weekend, my mom said she never wanted to leave! The location, the cleanliness, the decor, the porch swing…. it was one of my favorite stays ever, and I can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful place to stay while on vacation at Tybee Island

We loved staying at this house. It was a great space for our family. Quick trip to the beach and right next to the park. Perfect beach house and hope to stay there again when we go back.

Terrific stay

We absolutely loved the cottage. It was very clean and so so cute. We stayed in the unit with the bed swing on the back porch and we really enjoyed that. We would recommend this rental very much and we plan on coming back and staying again.

Having never been to Tybee Island and happening upon this cottage by sheer circumstance made our first family vacation with our blended family perfect! The neighborhood, convenience to the beach, shops and restaurants could not have been better. The property oozes retro charm and was spotlessly clean! We can’t wait to come back next summer!

Beautiful cottage near North Beach

Lovely old cottage, very comfortable and beautifully decorated; we enjoyed our stay so much! Located next to a town park, where we walked a loop under the trees every day. If you’re looking for a unique place to stay, this is it. Two screened porches, vintage building and decor with modern comforts. We could walk to North Beach. And cocktails at the North Beach Grill! Also very close to Sea Wolf, where we had great Tybee Salt Bombs (local oysters) and gourmet hot dogs. Highly recommend.

Last minute spring break trip

If you staying love finding unique places to stay, then this is it! Nothing cookie cutter about this eclectic rental. It's beautifully decorated and furnished to fit the time period of the home and has EVERY comfort of a modern home, too. Bright and open feeling with large windows and two screened porches to enjoy on either side of the home. Short walk to the beach and quiet neighborhood away from the crowds. And it was sparkling clean! Even better than the photos online, and the owner was very pleasant, checking in to make sure everything was as it should be after we arrived. And she did a wonderful job of actually stocking the property with MORE supplies than the listing stared. Perfect for a family of 3-4 or a girl's trip! We loved staying here and are already planning our next trip. Beautiful

I cannot rave enough about this cottage. The best VRBO listing we have ever been to. Read on the porch swing, short walk to the beach, and enjoyed the outdoor shower after a day at the beach! Every detail of the cottage was well thought out. The master bed mattress was a little firm for me, but no problem:) I slept on one of the twin beds the last couple of nights. Evelyn was very responsive, and helpful! Stay here.. you won’t regret it!

Wonderful girls’ weekend

This was my second time staying at this property but the first time staying in B. I came for a long weekend with my two daughters, to celebrate my youngest daughter’s 21st birthday. We absolutely loved it! It is cool and funky, comfortable, clean, serene, and in a great location. We liked being in a more residential area with a very short walk to the beach. If I had one complaint it would be the need for more counter space in the bathroom. With 3 girls, there wasn’t much space for all the stuff. Maybe put a small cabinet in the full bath instead of the chair? With that said though, I would absolutely stay here again!

The best vacation home we’ve ever been to!

It’s so rare that a vacation rental booked online ever meets the expectations of the description and photos. But this home exceeded all we had hoped for! The house is so beautifully decorated, with such care and intention, it was a joy just to walk around in the space. The huge windows with natural light, the amazingly comfortable bedding, the fully stocked kitchen with everything we could need, and finally the perfect outdoor bedroom, I can’t decide what I love the most! Beyond the home, the beach was less than five minutes away by foot and the description of the park behind the house doesn’t do it justice. Beyond the yard is a gorgeous park with things to do for small children up to adults. A padded running path, a playground, an adult exercise area and a huge field made it feel like our yard was multiple acres. Even before we left all of us were planning our next visit. What an amazing vacation spot!

This property is perfect for a stay on Tybee Island.We brought our bikes and didn’t need out vehicle all week - the location is great! A few minutes walk to the beach, a short bike ride to ice cream (The Sugar Shack) and Jaycee Park is right outside the back door!

Lovely Cottage on North Island

Second time we’ve stayed at Cottage on the Green. Last time we stayed in A and this time we stayed in B. Such a great spot that backs up to the park. Quieter end of the island which we prefer and we loved the swinging bed on the back porch for reading and napping. The decor of this cottage is super cute and everything was clean and tidy. We had ample towels, linens and blankets plus nice to have detergent and laundry machine and dishwasher. Evelyn was quick to respond to my questions. Rented a golf cart which made traveling around the island much easier and then we didn’t have to pay for parking. (Note: there are external outlets which make electric cart charging super easy). Thank you for making our trip so relaxing and easy. We are eager to plan our next stay with you!

My daughter and her family live in Savannah and we vacationed on Tybee Island for several years. After staying in this location on the island, I knew this is where I wanted to invest. I am so glad to have found this historical building.

When I saw this cottage right on a park, I was smitten right then. I knew immediately without even going inside that this was the one for me. The location by the park and so close to the beach make this the perfect spot.
