Welcome to the beautiful Highland Cottages at Lake Guntersville! Each cottage has a built-in King bed with memory foam mattress, a kitchenette with a coffee maker, tea kettle, dishes, glasses, and cutlery, and even a small refrigerator. Pamper yourself at the beautiful vanity with all the items needed to make you look and feel your best. Included are a hair dryer, makeup mirror, complimentary soaps and lotions, and the softest towels we could find. The deck and hot tub complete the experience!

The Space:
Timberland Retreat is a dream getaway! Enjoy a romantic evening in the hot tub with a beautiful view or relax with a book in the hammock! This cottage has a great open views across the property for the best sunsets. The string lights surrounding the deck add to the mood. Timberland Retreat has it all!

Great Couples Getaway

My wife and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway, and the property did not disappoint! Great attention to detail throughout, and the owners were easily accessible throughout the process. We'll be back for sure!

One of a kind experience!

Our stay here was more than a trip - it was an experience. Everything from the communication to the room was wonderful. The hosts genuinely thought of everything and were so intentional with all the details for the stay. It is such a relaxing location, and it was more than we ever expected it to be. We only booked one night this time, but we are already looking forward to going back!

This adorable cottage is filled with luxurious and beautiful amenities! We stayed here on our wedding night and it did not disappoint! Some of our favorite things were: the skylight views which allowed beautiful natural sunlight into the cabin, the bed which was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, the shower with its rainfall shower head, and a heated towel rack! We got there too late to enjoy the hot tub but it added even more romance to the cabin. We loved everything about it and were surprised at all the extra little charming, romantic, and cozy touches this cabin offered.
